Sport Support Club - Padel Academy

Sport Support Club - Padel Academy is a dedicated padel facility inside a climate-controlled air dome on Al Fan Street, Mohamed Bin Zayed City, Zone 3, Abu Dhabi. The venue sits within the wider Sport Support Club complex near Emirates National School, off Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Street (E11) and close to the E30 interchange.

Sport Support Club - Padel Academy padel gives players in the MBZ, Khalifa City and Shahama corridor a covered option that stays comfortable year-round. The air dome opened in 2023, housing football pitches, a basketball court and four professional padel courts under one roof.

The complex is run by Sport Support Club, a long-established Abu Dhabi youth sports academy known for its football, swimming and multi-sport camps. Coaching on the padel courts is delivered in partnership with The Padel Beast, a specialist padel coaching platform active across the capital.

Free parking is available on site and the venue provides changing rooms with showers, restrooms and refreshments. Equipment including racquets and balls can be hired at reception, so players can turn up without their own kit.

The padel courts

The academy has four padel courts, all housed inside the Broadwell-engineered air dome. The dome spans roughly 5,400 square metres with dual-layer heat-insulated walls and a high-efficiency air filtration system, keeping temperatures stable even through the Abu Dhabi summer.

Each court uses a crystal synthetic turf surface, the most common specification across UAE padel venues. Lighting is handled by indoor LED arrays mounted in the dome ceiling, providing even coverage without the glare issues of outdoor floodlights. All four courts are doubles-standard size.

The enclosed setting eliminates wind interference entirely, a genuine advantage over outdoor courts in the region. Players who have used the facility on Playo rate it 5.0 out of 5 and highlight the consistent playing conditions inside the dome.

Booking padel and access

Courts are open Monday to Friday from 16:00 to 23:00, with extended weekend hours from 08:00 to 23:00 on Saturday and Sunday. The venue operates on a pay-and-play basis with no membership requirement. Online booking is available through Playo, which shows live availability for all four courts.

Pricing at comparable Abu Dhabi indoor padel venues typically ranges from 150 to 300 AED per court for 60 minutes. Live rates for Sport Support Club - Padel Academy padel courts can be checked through Playo or by contacting the club. Bulk and corporate bookings are also available.

Contact the venue by phone on +971 55 392 5550 or by email at info@uae-sports.com. WhatsApp enquiries are accepted on the same number. For coaching-specific bookings, reach The Padel Beast on +971 50 345 1044 or thepadelbeast@gmail.com.

The club sits just off Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Street (E11), making it a straightforward drive from central Abu Dhabi, Khalifa City or the E30 from Al Ain. Free parking is provided at the complex entrance. Changing rooms with showers are available inside the dome building.

Padel programme and social

Coaching at the academy is delivered through a partnership with The Padel Beast, an Abu Dhabi-based padel coaching and matchmaking organisation. They provide individual and group lessons for all levels - see the coaching tab for tiers and pricing. Their filtered matchmaking service pairs players of similar skill and availability for competitive games.

The Padel Beast also runs a dedicated Ladies Academy, offering women-only sessions in a structured learning environment. The coaching team includes experienced instructors, with Coach Cris bringing over five years of padel-specific coaching to the programme.

Sport Support Club has a strong community base through its football and multi-sport academies, feeding social events at the venue. The club’s Instagram (@sportsupportfc) and Facebook page post updates on sessions and booking availability. Social play and informal mix-ins happen regularly alongside coaching blocks.

The wider Sport Support Club programme includes football academies for ages 4 to 18, swimming classes, basketball, karate and seasonal kids camps. Families visiting for other sports often discover the padel courts as an additional activity on site.

Best for

The air dome format makes this venue ideal for players who want to avoid the heat of outdoor courts, especially between May and October. The covered, climate-controlled environment delivers consistent bounce and zero wind, which suits technique-focused players and coaching sessions.

Families already using Sport Support Club for football or swimming will find padel a natural addition. The pay-and-play model, equipment hire and Playo booking keep the barrier to entry low for beginners wanting to try the sport.

This is a sports-first facility focused on court time and coaching rather than hospitality. Players seeking a restaurant, bar or poolside lounge should look elsewhere. Those wanting a large tournament circuit may want to supplement their games here with sessions at a larger dedicated padel centre.

Coaching is delivered by The Padel Beast, an Abu Dhabi-based padel coaching and matchmaking organisation offering private and group lessons for all levels, plus a dedicated Ladies Academy.
