Padel Loco

Padel Loco brings padel to Ajman through a partnership with Body and Soul Health Club and Spa at Al Jurf 1, Ajman, United Arab Emirates. The venue sits next to Gulf Medical University on Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Street (E311).

Padel Loco padel courts opened in November 2021 after founders Mohamed Abdulla Almarzooqi and Harith Mohammed Almarzooqi teamed up with Padel Factory to install the facility. The Al Jurf location has direct access from the Ajman-Sharjah border corridor via the E311 and E611 interchange.

The courts are open to both Body and Soul members and non-members. This makes Padel Loco one of the more accessible pay-and-play padel options in Ajman. The health club setting means players can combine a match with a full gym workout, a swim or a spa session before or after their game.

Padel Loco operates within a larger multi-sport complex that also offers tennis, football, badminton, basketball, volleyball and cricket facilities. The Al Jurf location is roughly a 10-minute drive from Ajman City Centre and sits close to the E311 and E611 motorway interchange.

The padel courts

Padel Loco has two outdoor padel courts built to standard doubles dimensions. Both courts use a crystal-surface playing area, which provides consistent ball bounce and good grip underfoot in the Gulf climate.

The courts are floodlit for evening play, with sessions running until late at night. This is particularly useful during the summer months when temperatures drop after sunset and most players prefer to book later time slots.

Glass-walled enclosures surround both courts in the standard padel configuration. The outdoor setting means there is no air conditioning, so players should plan for warm conditions during daytime bookings in the hotter months. Court maintenance is handled by the Body and Soul facilities team.

Booking and access

Court hire at Padel Loco costs AED 120 per court during off-peak hours. Peak sessions from 5pm to 1am are AED 180 per court. For a doubles game with four players, that works out to AED 30 per person off-peak or AED 45 per person at peak.

Bookings are made through Body and Soul Health Club reception or by calling +971 6 743 0755. There is no online booking platform - all reservations are handled by phone or in person. The venue does not currently appear on Playtomic or other padel booking apps.

Opening hours run from Monday to Friday 07:30 to 23:30, with weekends (Saturday and Sunday) opening slightly earlier at 07:00. The courts close at 23:30 every night. Free parking is available at the Body and Soul Health Club car park.

Changing rooms and showers are available inside the health club. Players also have access to lockers and towel service. The gym, swimming pool, sauna and steam room can be used with a day pass or membership.

Programme and social

Padel Loco caters primarily to casual and social players. The venue does not currently advertise a structured coaching programme or regular tournament schedule. Players looking for coaching in Ajman may find options at nearby dedicated padel facilities.

The social side of the venue benefits from the health club environment. Players can gather in the club lounge after matches. The Body and Soul Health Club hosts a mixed community of fitness enthusiasts, which helps introduce new players to the sport through casual referrals.

Group bookings for corporate events or birthday parties can be arranged through the health club reception. The multi-sport setup means groups can combine padel with other activities across the same venue.

Padel Loco suits beginners and social players who want a relaxed introduction to padel without the intensity of a dedicated academy. The pay-and-play model and affordable pricing make it easy to try the sport without committing to a membership or package.

Fitness-focused players will appreciate the ability to combine padel with a gym session, swim or spa visit in one trip. Families using Body and Soul can add padel to their routine without travelling to a separate venue.

Competitive players or those seeking structured coaching, league play or advanced training will likely find better options at larger dedicated padel facilities in Ajman such as Go Padel or Padel House. Padel Loco is best positioned as a convenient social padel option within a full-service health club.
