CF Padel Academy - Jumeira Baccalaureate School

CF Padel Academy - Jumeira Baccalaureate School sits inside the grounds of Jumeira Baccalaureate School on Street 11B, Jumeirah 1, Dubai, just behind Mercato Mall and a short turn off Al Wasl Road. Launched in 2021 by Clark Francis, the padel arm grew from his long-running CF Tennis Academy.

The Jumeirah 1 branch is the most accessible of three CF Padel venues for residents of Jumeirah, Satwa and Business Bay. It offers evening and weekend padel on two purpose-built outdoor courts with floodlighting.

CF Padel Academy - Jumeira Baccalaureate School padel is part of a wider network that includes courts at the Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club and The Aviation Club. Clark Francis has coached racquet sports in Dubai for over 25 years and speaks English, French and Spanish.

The academy partners with HEAD as its equipment sponsor and runs a seasonal HEAD Community Padel League across its three venues.

The padel courts

The venue has two outdoor doubles padel courts with crystal-glass back walls. Both courts use a synthetic grass surface and are floodlit for evening play. Court dimensions follow standard doubles specifications at 20 metres by 10 metres.

The outdoor setting means natural ventilation, though Dubai’s summer heat makes the evening time slots the most popular. Courts are maintained by an on-site pro shop team who handle bookings, racquet rental and ball sales.

Booking padel and access

Court hire is AED 240 per court for 60 minutes, AED 340 for 90 minutes and AED 440 for 120 minutes. That works out to AED 60 per person per hour in a full doubles game. Members of affiliated clubs pay from AED 200 per court for 60 minutes.

Block bookings of ten 60-minute sessions cost AED 2,200 for non-members or AED 1,800 for members. Racquet rental is AED 30 per racquet and a can of three balls costs AED 35. All prices include 5% VAT.

Courts can be booked through the Playtomic app or by calling 800-PADEL (72335). WhatsApp enquiries go to 050 522 3126 and the general email is info@cfpadel.com.

Opening hours at the JBS venue are Sunday to Thursday from 16:00 to 01:00 and Friday to Saturday from 06:30 to 01:00. Free parking is available within the school grounds.

Padel programme and social

The academy runs coaching through a team of nine professional coaches. Private one-to-one lessons cost AED 300 per hour and semi-private sessions for two players are AED 200 per person per hour. The Play with a Pro format is AED 150 per person.

Five-session packages are available across all coaching tiers. Full coaching details and pricing appear in the coaching tab on this listing.

Junior padel is a strong focus at this venue. Coaching sessions run for ages six and up through after-school slots, with groups split by age bracket and ability from beginner to intermediate. Junior match-making for under-12s runs regularly.

Adults have access to group lessons, ladies-only morning sessions, social evenings and the HEAD Community Padel League. The league runs January to March and guarantees a minimum of four matches per player with flexible scheduling.

League participants receive HEAD merchandise, exclusive discounts and entry to sponsor events. The on-site pro shop stocks racquets and accessories.

Match-making sessions connect players of similar ability for competitive doubles. Team-building workshops and corporate events are available on request through the academy.

Best for

CF Padel Academy at JBS suits families in Jumeirah and surrounding areas who want structured coaching alongside casual court hire. The junior programme is one of the most developed in Dubai, making it ideal for parents introducing children to padel.

Adults looking for league play and regular social sessions will find a built-in community through the HEAD league and weekly mix-ins.

Players who prefer indoor or air-conditioned courts should look elsewhere, as both courts are fully outdoor. The venue is school-hosted, so weekday availability starts at 16:00 rather than early morning.

For earlier weekday access, the CF Padel branches at The Aviation Club or Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club open from 06:30 daily.

CF Padel Academy runs in-house coaching through a team of nine professional coaches led by founder Clark Francis, covering private, semi-private, group, junior and ladies-only sessions across all levels.
