Padel Powerhouse Burnham

Padel Powerhouse Burnham is a newly opened two-court padel venue at George Pitcher Memorial Ground, Britwell Road, Slough SL1 8DL, on the south Buckinghamshire edge of Burnham. The courts opened for public play on 16 May 2026.

The site runs under a partnership between Padel Powerhouse Limited (incorporated December 2024) and Burnham Parish Council, with a formal grand opening planned for Saturday 4 July 2026. Court booking goes through Playtomic.

The venue sits a short drive from the M4 (junction 7) and the A4 Bath Road. Burnham, Slough and Taplow railway stations are all within a few miles for visiting players.

The padel courts share George Pitcher Memorial Ground with three full football pitches, junior pitches, a trim trail and a nature reserve. The setting is outdoor and parkland, which contrasts with the indoor warehouse-style padel clubs nearby in Slough.

The padel courts

Padel Powerhouse Burnham has two full-size doubles courts. Both are outdoor and built to a panoramic specification with glass back walls for easier spectating from the side of the cage.

Playtomic lists the playing surface as standard padel turf and the courts as fully floodlit, which keeps them usable across the long British evenings either side of the summer peak.

The setup is squarely aimed at recreational doubles play rather than singles or competitive tour use. The two-court footprint keeps wait times short at off-peak weekday slots while still supporting small social sessions at weekends.

Booking and access

All court bookings at Padel Powerhouse Burnham run through the Playtomic app or website. Live rates and slot availability are shown at the booking step on Playtomic, with both 60 and 90 minute durations available.

The venue takes the standard Playtomic cancellation window of up to 24 hours before the booking start time without charge. There is no separate membership tier at launch - the site operates on a pay-and-play basis.

Opening hours are 07:00 to 18:30 every day of the week, giving early-morning and after-work slots through the summer when daylight allows. The venue can be reached on +44 7754 847973 for queries that the Playtomic flow does not cover.

Driving access is straightforward via Britwell Road. The ground is served by an on-site car park (30 minutes free, then £1 all day between 07:00 and 19:00) with step-free routes from the parking area to the courts.

Programme and social padel

As the courts have only just opened, the social and competitive calendar is still being built out. Padel Powerhouse Limited has said it will use Playtomic and its own channels to roll out mix-in sessions, beginner taster nights and weekend social events through the summer.

Coaching is expected to launch alongside the social programme rather than from day one. Where lessons or junior camps are confirmed, they will appear on the coaching tab and in the Playtomic schedule.

Best for padel in Burnham and Slough

Padel Powerhouse Burnham is best suited to local residents in Burnham, Taplow, Stoke Poges, Farnham Common and the western fringes of Slough who want an outdoor, parkland court without travelling into central Slough or Maidenhead.

The pay-and-play model, Playtomic-only booking and modest two-court footprint make it a natural fit for casual groups, friends arranging weekend games and parents picking up a quick session around football fixtures on the adjacent pitches.
