Lake-Y Padel

Lake-Y Padel brings two outdoor courts to a 17-acre health and lifestyle resort on Hayfield Lane in Auckley, Doncaster (DN9 3NP). The padel build opened December 2024 and sits alongside open-water swimming, paddleboarding, yoga and a one-kilometre lakeside running track.

The courts

Two full-size outdoor padel courts open seven days a week, with rackets available to rent on site for drop-in players. The site is currently open to both members and non-members, though a future member-only model has been signalled.

Booking and access

Bookings run through Playtomic at playtomic.com/clubs/lake-y. Court hire costs £30 to £40 per hour. Free on-site parking, lockers, showers, a licensed cafe and a cold-water lakeside shower are available to players.

The site sits five minutes from junction 3 of the M18, with strong road access from Doncaster, Sheffield and the wider South Yorkshire belt.

Programme and social

Lake-Y runs private one-to-one coaching and group sessions in a relaxed, social setting, with a focus on improvement and enjoyment rather than league-style competition. Group classes suit players from beginner level upwards.
