Pure Padel Glasgow

Pure Padel Glasgow is Glasgow’s first indoor padel club, opened January 2026 inside the 40,000 sq ft former Cineworld at The Forge Retail Park in central East Glasgow.

Ten panoramic courts including a dedicated competition court make it the brand’s largest single Scottish venue and one of Scotland’s biggest indoor padel sites by court count.

Sister venues across the wider Pure Padel UK network include Manchester, Birmingham, Solihull, Lightwater (Surrey), Nottingham, plus the upcoming Gosforth flagship.

The courts

Ten indoor panoramic courts in the converted 40,000 sq ft Cineworld building at The Forge Retail Park. The competition court runs as the venue’s tournament centerpiece for ranked play. All courts on synthetic grass with indoor LED lighting through evening play. Roofed for full weather protection.

Booking and access

Court hire bookable through Playtomic. Pay-and-play is the default, with Pure Padel network membership unlocking reduced rates and shared booking benefits across all UK sites.

Peak weekday evenings (5pm to 9pm) and weekend mornings book five to seven days ahead. The Forge Retail Park setting in central East Glasgow puts the venue inside reach of the M8 corridor with retail-park parking. Closest stations: Bridgeton and Carntyne (rail).

Programme and social

The 40,000 sq ft footprint and ten-court volume make Pure Padel Glasgow the network’s Scottish competition venue. The dedicated competition court hosts ranked-play events and tournament finals through the calendar.

Pro padel shop, hospitality space and social areas share the converted Cineworld building. Daily mix-ins, beginner socials and structured group lessons run alongside pay-and-play. Group bookings, corporate events and tournament hosting handled directly.

Best for

Glasgow, the wider central belt, Edinburgh-based regulars willing to make the trip, and Scottish league players who want UK-network-quality competition courts in their home city. Visiting players from across Scotland combining a Glasgow trip with flagship-scale indoor padel. Less suited to outdoor-first players or budget walk-on play.

Coaching at Pure Padel Glasgow runs through the in-house coaching team, with structured group lessons, beginner intros and 1-on-1 sessions across all skill levels. The dedicated competition court is regularly used for tournament-prep coaching and advanced match-play sessions. Network membership unlocks reduced rates with shared access across all Pure Padel UK sites including Manchester, Birmingham, Solihull, Lightwater and Nottingham.
