About Park Sports Regent’s Park

Park Sports Regent’s Park sits at The Courts, York Bridge, Inner Circle, London NW1 4NU, on the south side of the park’s Inner Circle. It is a few minutes’ walk from Regent’s Park tube on the Bakerloo line and Baker Street station.

The site is operated by Park Sports under a Royal Parks concession, alongside Hyde Park and Lammas Park in Ealing. The group, formerly Will to Win, has run community sport in west and central London for more than 25 years. More on the brand is on the Park Sports website.

Padel was rolled out at Regent’s Park alongside Hyde Park and Lammas Park. The Regent’s Park site combines twelve tennis courts (ten floodlit) with two purpose-built padel courts, plus the on-site Courts Cafe, a small pro shop, toilets, changing facilities and a water point.

The Inner Circle is reached from the A501 Marylebone Road and Park Road, with limited paid parking on the perimeter and free bicycle racks at the entrance.

The padel courts

Park Sports Regent’s Park has two outdoor padel courts laid with sand-based artificial turf, the standard surface used across the Park Sports padel network. Both courts are fully floodlit and built to regulation 20 x 10 metre dimensions with glass back walls and perimeter fencing for safe ball returns.

Because the courts are open to the sky, play does depend on the weather, but the floodlights extend usable hours well into the evening through autumn and winter. Sessions are capped at four players per booking, and racket hire is available from reception when the Courts Cafe is open.

Booking padel and access

Park Sports Regent’s Park is fully pay-and-play, no membership required. Court hire runs from around £35 per court off-peak up to £51 per court at peak times, with prices including floodlight fees on early morning and evening slots.

Sixty-minute bookings are standard and most players split the cost across four, working out at roughly £8.75 to £12.75 per person. Bookings open online seven days in advance through the Park Sports booking portal, with new slots released at 7am each morning.

Each customer can hold one booking per day to keep court access fair across the local community. Cancellations under 24 hours notice forfeit the fee, and no-shows are not refunded.

Padel rackets are available to hire for £5 per player per hour with photo ID at reception. Padel balls are not available for hire but can be bought from the pro shop. The site is cashless, with card payment required at booking, and the central enquiry line is 020 7224 1625.

Programme and social

Beyond pay-and-play, Park Sports Regent’s Park runs a structured padel programme aimed at adults: six-week courses at Beginner, Improver, Intermediate and Advanced levels, plus weekly drills sessions and one-off Getting Started in Padel taster classes. Courses are delivered by LTA-qualified, self-employed coaches contracted by Park Sports.

The Courts Cafe, with indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the Inner Circle, doubles as the social hub. Players regroup over coffee or a post-match drink, and the small pro shop stocks balls, grips and entry-level rackets for anyone arriving without kit.

Tournaments and mix-in events are advertised through the Park Sports site and the venue’s Royal Parks Sport and Leisure listing.

Best for padel in central London

Park Sports Regent’s Park suits central London players who want zero-commitment padel inside one of the city’s flagship Royal Parks. The setting, the cafe and the cycle access make it an easy after-work pick for Marylebone, Camden and the West End.

It is less suited to players who need indoor cover year-round or guaranteed peak-time slots. With only two courts and a 7am daily release, popular evening windows go quickly. Anyone wanting an indoor warehouse-style venue would be better served by a dedicated central London padel club.
