Ashbury Manor Padel

Ashbury Manor, part of the Manor & Ashbury Resorts estate in Okehampton, opened its padel facilities in January 2024. The four glass-walled indoor courts are set at regulation size (20m x 10m) and operate year-round, making this an ideal destination for padel holidays combining hotel stays, golf, and group coaching.

The courts

Four regulation indoor courts with glass and metallic-mesh walls provide all-weather play. Each court is fully lit. Hotel guests hire courts at £5 per hour including equipment for four players and a 60-minute session. Non-guests pre-book one week ahead at £10 per court per hour.

Booking and access

Hotel residents book directly with reception. Non-residents contact the resort directly to pre-book courts. The resort sits in Dartmoor’s foothills with on-site car parking and full hotel amenities including gym, pool, and restaurant facilities available to all court-hire customers.

Programme and social

Ashbury operates a dedicated padel club with sessions twice weekly (Tuesday and Saturday evenings, 6 - 9pm). Members receive an introductory coaching session with a professional coach. The resort teams with Padel Mix LTD to run 2 and 4-night padel coaching breaks for beginners, intermediates, and advanced players, plus seasonal tournaments and LTA-graded events.
