RGV Padel & Pickleball Club sits at 2513 Victoria Drive, Mission, TX 78572, just off Expressway 83 and a short drive from the McAllen-Reynosa border crossings. The 21,500 square foot complex is the largest dedicated padel facility in South Texas.

Opened in September 2025 by brothers Hector and Sebastian Ronquillo, this is their second venue after the original McAllen site that introduced padel to the Rio Grande Valley. The booking site lives at rgvpadelclub.com, with live court availability run through Playtomic.

The venue serves Mission, McAllen, Edinburg and the wider Valley, with cross-border players regularly coming up from Reynosa for league nights and tournaments. A two-storey layout puts the courts on the ground floor and a viewing lounge upstairs.

The padel courts

RGV Padel runs seven full panoramic doubles padel courts alongside six pickleball courts, with 18,000 square feet of total court space. Four padel courts sit under a permanent roof structure while three are outdoor, offering year-round daytime play and floodlit evening sessions.

The covered courts are numbered 1 to 4: Mousai, La Ganadera, Mega Supply/JA Carriers and Shaddai Construction. The outdoor courts (5 to 7) are Rejuvenate Med Spa, SPI Logistics/Sala de Despecho and PerlaG Imports. Court names reflect local sponsors who backed the build and gives the venue a distinctly Valley feel from the moment you step in.

Every court is full panoramic glass with synthetic turf and LED lighting on the covered section. The roof keeps play going through summer heat and the Valley’s rainy spells. The outdoor courts catch the breeze on cooler evenings and run floodlit for late games.

Booking and access for padel at RGV

Court reservations are handled through Playtomic with live availability and instant confirmation. Book a court on Playtomic or walk in if a slot is open. Memberships and pay-and-play are both available, with live rates shown at the booking step.

Opening hours are Monday to Friday 5:30 AM to 11:30 PM, and Saturday and Sunday 5:30 AM to midnight. Early-morning and late-night slots match Valley work schedules well. Free parking is on-site and the entrance is step-free.

Padel programme and social

The club runs leagues, sanctioned tournaments and regular mix-ins across both padel and pickleball, with calendar dates posted on the Instagram feed at @rgvpadelclub. A kids after-school programme has drawn families from Mission, Sharyland and McAllen since launch. The first major event at the Mission site was the RGV Open, hosted shortly after the grand opening.

The on-site pro shop on the second floor stocks rackets, shoes, balls and apparel from the major padel brands. The lounge offers food and drinks with a balcony view across the courts, and the bar is open during play hours.

Families wanting kids programmes and players moving up from the original McAllen site will find the Mission setup a clear step up. Less of a fit if you only want fully climate-controlled padel - the four covered courts are roofed but not air-conditioned, so summer afternoons still get warm.
