About Bali Padel Academy

Bali Padel Academy (BPA) is the international headquarters of the NOX Future Academy. Seven covered courts sit on a site built into the rice fields off Jl. Babakan Kubu, with the layout reading more like a destination padel resort than a city club. All seven are built to NOX specification. The NOX Stadium serves as the centre court and carries a 200-spectator gallery for league finals, exhibitions and visiting pro sessions. Two courts (Court 5 and the NOX Stadium) are AIBALL-powered for live AI ball tracking.

The courts

Seven covered panoramic courts, all on synthetic grass and built to the same NOX specification. Floodlit to 23:00 for full evening play. The roof means weather never stops a session. Court 5 and the NOX Stadium add AIBALL live ball tracking, the other five courts run as standard NOX competition setup.

Booking and access

Court hire is IDR 600,000 to 1,120,000 per hour through Playtomic, with price varying by time slot, court and whether AIBALL is enabled. Pay-and-play is the default and there is no member-only tier, everything is bookable openly. Peak evening slots from 17:00 to 21:00 book three to seven days ahead and weekends fill earliest; off-peak weekday morning slots are usually available same day. Full refunds on cancellations made 12 hours before the slot, via the Playtomic app. Suits intermediate to advanced players who want regulation NOX-spec courts. Open every day 06:30 to 23:00, closed only on Nyepi. Fifteen-minute scooter ride from central Canggu, no public transport links.

Programme and social

Beyond walk-on play, BPA runs weekend tournaments, mix-ins and beginner social sessions through the calendar. Junior camps run through school holidays, and groups of up to 24 players can be booked through the venue for events. The on-site offer beyond the courts is unusual for Bali: NOX pro shop, the Bandeja restaurant, an infinity pool, a recovery zone with sauna, ice bath and steam room, a kids playground and free on-site parking.

Best for

Serious intermediate to advanced players who want NOX-level coaching and competition-spec courts in a destination-padel setting. Less suited to budget walk-on play or anyone wanting outdoor-only sessions, since all seven courts sit under cover.
