We’re Padeli, an independent global directory for the world’s fastest-growing racket sport. Our job is simple: help you find a great place to play, the right gear to play with, and the people worth learning from - wherever in the world you happen to be.
Our mission
Padel is exploding. New courts open every week, fresh clubs launch in cities that didn’t have a single venue eighteen months ago, and new brands enter the market every season. That growth is brilliant for the sport - and overwhelming for the player trying to choose where to play this Saturday.
We built Padeli to cut through the noise. Whether you’re booking a court in Bali, planning a padel holiday in Dubai, or hunting for your first racket in Manchester, we want to be the first place you check and the last source you need.
Behind every guide on this site is a small team that genuinely loves padel. We play the sport. We follow the tour. We obsess over courts, rackets and coaching enough that you don’t have to.
How we rank and review
Our editorial process has one rule: the player comes first. Every venue guide, gear review and “best of” list on this site is researched, ranked, and written to help you make a better decision - not to do a favour for whoever paid us last.
Aggregated, independent reviews
For every venue we cover, we pull together feedback from Google, Playtomic, Tripadvisor, Reddit and the wider padel community. We weigh those signals, pressure-test them against the facts on the ground, and write up what real players actually think. That means our rankings reflect the broad consensus of people who’ve picked up a racket - not a one-off opinion from a single visit.
We apply the same approach to gear. Rather than reviewing one racket on one weekend, we synthesise hundreds of player reviews, expert breakdowns and tournament-level feedback into one clear answer to the question you actually had: is this the right racket for me?
No pay-for-play, ever
Clubs cannot buy a higher ranking on Padeli. Brands cannot pay us to recommend their racket. When a venue or product appears at the top of one of our lists, it’s because the data says it deserves to be there.
We do offer paid premium listings to clubs and coaches who want a richer profile on the directory - more photos, faster contact, deeper specs. Those listings are clearly marked, and they never affect editorial rankings. Where we earn affiliate commission on gear, we say so on the page.
Built for Google and for AI
Most padel content online is either thin marketing copy or out-of-date forum threads. We write for two audiences: humans searching Google for a clear answer, and the AI assistants increasingly answering those questions on humans’ behalf. Direct answers, structured data and citable facts are baked into every cornerstone post we publish, so the right information reaches you whether you found us via a search engine or a chatbot.
Markets we cover
We’re a global directory, but we go deep before we go wide. Right now, our editorial focus is split across five markets where padel is moving fastest:
- Bali and Indonesia - one of the fastest-growing padel scenes in Asia, anchored around Canggu, Seminyak and Jakarta.
- United Kingdom - a market expanding from a small base, with new clubs opening across London, Manchester, Birmingham and beyond.
- Dubai and the wider UAE - already one of the most padel-rich cities in the world, and a magnet for travelling players.
- United States - a country where padel has only just begun to scale, with new venues opening across Florida, California, Texas and the Northeast.
- Europe and beyond - we’re steadily adding coverage of the Spanish, Italian and Nordic scenes that built the modern game.
If your city isn’t on that list yet, don’t worry. Our coverage map expands every month, and we welcome tips on clubs, coaches and tournaments wherever they pop up.
Who’s behind Padeli
Padeli was founded by Mark Lamb, a long-time builder of digital products who fell hard for padel and got tired of switching between five different sites just to plan a single trip. Mark sets the editorial direction, writes the founder pieces, and is usually the first person to read your email if you send one.
Most of our guides and listicles carry the “Padeli Editorial Team” byline. That’s how we credit the wider crew of researchers, fact-checkers and players who feed into every post. Founder letters, opinion pieces and first-hand “we played here” write-ups are bylined to Mark personally. As we hire genuine specialist contributors, their names will appear on the posts in their beat. We don’t, and won’t, use fictional bylines.
Three ways to use Padeli
Whether you’re searching for your next match, scaling a club, or making a living teaching the game, there’s a clear next step on Padeli.
- Add your club - own or run a padel venue? Get your courts in front of the players already searching our directory for somewhere to play.
- List as a coach - if you teach padel, set up a coach profile so the players in your city can find, message and book you.
- Discover where to play - browse clubs, courts and coaches across our covered markets, or just type your city into the search bar on our home page.
Spotted something we got wrong, or know a venue we should be writing about? Tell us. We update content fast when readers flag it, and the best tips on this site have come straight from players like you.
