About Padel Peterborough
Padel Peterborough is a padel venue at Stanground Academy, Peterborough Rd, Peterborough PE7 3BY. The four courts are outdoor and floodlit, open from 08:00 to 22:00 every day, and booked online through the club’s own Matchpoint system, with weekday off-peak court hire from £22 an hour.
The entrance is a green gate marked Padel Peterborough Entrance, next to the Powerleague clubhouse on the Stanground Academy site. The club also takes pickleball bookings, and its programme runs from one-hour sessions for newcomers to coached group classes, social mix-ins, tournaments and a summer camp for juniors.
The padel courts
Padel Peterborough has 4 padel courts, all outdoor and floodlit. The floodlights mean evening slots run right up to the 22:00 close on every day of the week, so after-work games are not limited to light summer evenings.
Each court is played as doubles, the standard format, with four players sharing it. Players without kit can hire a racket on the day: standard rackets cost £4 (members pay £2) and premium rackets cost £8. Balls cost £7.50, and members pay £6.50.
Racket hire is included in the Welcome to Padel session, so a first hour on court needs no equipment at all. Once you decide to keep playing, our padel equipment guide covers what is worth buying and what can wait.
Padel booking and access
Courts are booked online through the Padel Peterborough website or app, which run on Matchpoint. Non-members can book up to 9 days ahead. The same system handles pickleball bookings, and the venue is open from 08:00 to 22:00, Monday to Sunday.
Peak, Monday to Friday 15:30 to 22:00: £44 for 60 minutes. Peak, Saturday and Sunday 08:00 to 17:00: £44 for 60 minutes. Prices are per court, so a £44 peak hour comes to £11 each when four players share it.
Off-peak, Monday to Friday 08:00 to 15:30: £22 for 60 minutes. Off-peak, Saturday and Sunday 17:00 to 22:00: £36 for 60 minutes. A weekday daytime slot is the cheapest way to play, at half the peak rate.
