How we ranked the best padel courts in Buckinghamshire

Only clubs with a live Padeli listing in the Buckinghamshire region are ranked, so every court count, price and Google score here can be checked on its listing page. Nothing in this guide is a paid placement, and we do not claim to have played at these clubs.

Our order rests on four tests, in this order of weight:

  • Open to the public: can anyone book a court online today, without a membership or a hotel stay?
  • A Google score for the padel venue itself, weighed against the number of reviews behind it.
  • A published price, so you know the cost before you book.
  • Court count, floodlights and opening hours, which decide whether you can get a game after work.

Two listings carry Google scores that belong to a whole hotel or resort, not to the padel courts. Padel at Denham Grove shows 4.0 from 1,408 reviews, which rate Denham Grove Hotel as a whole. Stoke Park Country Club (Buckinghamshire) shows 4.6 from 1,316 reviews for the resort. We did not rank either club on those scores.

For other parts of the country, see our guides to the best padel courts in London, Newcastle and Sheffield.

What our listing data shows about Buckinghamshire padel

Buckinghamshire is an outdoor padel county: of the court total of 16 on our eight listings, 12 are outdoor and 4 are indoor. All four indoor courts are at one venue, Rulo Clubs in Chesham. Everywhere else, a wet evening means a cancelled game or a drive to Chesham.

The county’s clubs are small: seven of the eight listings have one or two each. Rulo Clubs, with four courts, is the only larger venue. Small clubs fill fast at peak times, so the booking window matters: UK PADEL Princes Risborough opens slots 7 days ahead for non-members and UK Padel Stoke Poges 6 days ahead.

Demand is concentrated in the Chilterns. Most Google searches that bring readers to Padeli for Buckinghamshire padel name Princes Risborough or Lacey Green, and the two clubs there are a short drive apart, which is why they lead this ranking.

Across Britain, the LTA counted 1,000,000 padel players in May 2026, up from 15,000 in 2019, with a court total of 1,825 across 551 venues. Buckinghamshire’s eight listed clubs are a small share of that, so expect new openings like Padel Powerhouse Burnham in May 2026 to keep arriving.

Off-peak play saves the most. At UK PADEL Princes Risborough, a super off-peak game costs a non-member £8 against £12 at peak, so four players save £16 a court hour by playing at quieter times.

Memberships only pay off for regular players. At £145 a year, the UK PADEL membership saves a peak-time player £3.50 a game (£12 against £8.50), so it pays for itself after about 42 peak games. Lacey Green & Loosley Row Padel & Tennis membership starts at £135 a year for adults.
