Top padel resorts.
Padeli lists 103 resorts and hotels with padel courts on site in 20 countries, from Spain, Portugal and the UK to the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Mexico, Barbados and the Maldives. Court counts run from 1 at NIHI Sumba to 10 floodlit courts at Club La Santa in Lanzarote and La Manga Club in Murcia, with 9 glass courts at Higuerón Hotel Málaga.
What is a padel holiday?
A padel holiday is a stay at a resort or hotel with padel courts on site, so you can play every day without driving to a club. Most resorts on Padeli add coaching, clinics or guest tournaments on top of court hire.
How much padel you get varies. Club La Santa in Lanzarote runs free group instruction each week, Club Med Phuket includes courts, rackets and beginner lessons in its all-inclusive price, and Ikos Kissamos in Crete lists padel among its complimentary activities. At most other resorts, such as Lyttos Beach in Crete or Gleneagles in Scotland, you book and pay for courts separately. Each Padeli resort page says which applies, checked October 2026.
Where are the best padel holidays in Europe?
Spain has the most courts per resort, so it is the strongest choice for a padel-heavy week in Europe. Club La Santa in Lanzarote and La Manga Club in Murcia have 10 floodlit courts each, Puente Romano in Marbella has 8, Higuerón Hotel Málaga on the Costa del Sol has 9 glass courts with its own academy, and Playitas Resort in Fuerteventura has 7 outdoor courts.
Portugal’s Algarve suits families and coaching: Vale do Lobo has 8 floodlit courts and Pine Cliffs Resort has 4 run by the Annabel Croft Padel Academy. In Greece, Lyttos Beach in Crete has 5 courts, 4 of them indoors. Italy’s resorts have 2 courts each in Sicily, Sardinia and Calabria, and COMO Castello del Nero in Tuscany also has padel. In the UK, Gleneagles has 3 indoor courts and Foxhills in Surrey has 3 floodlit ones. For warmer winter play, Robinson Cyprus near Larnaca has 3 courts and ROBINSON Pamfilya in Side, Turkey, has 2.
Where can you take a padel holiday outside Europe?
Outside Europe, Padeli lists resorts in the Maldives, Thailand, Indonesia, the Gulf, North Africa, the Caribbean, Mexico and Mauritius. In Dubai, Jumeirah Al Qasr has 3 padel courts with private and group lessons, and Atlantis, The Palm coaches through its Rackets Academy. In Abu Dhabi, Saadiyat Rotana has 3 courts, and in Doha the Sheraton Grand Doha has 7. On the Red Sea, Aldiana Club Naga Bay has 3 courts. In the Caribbean, Apes Hill Club in Barbados has 8 floodlit courts, and Fairmont Mayakoba on the Riviera Maya has 1.
How much does a padel holiday cost?
The cost of a padel holiday is the room rate plus court hire and coaching, and the padel part ranges from free to around £80 an hour for a court. Some resorts include it: Club Med Phuket and Ikos Kissamos include padel, and Vista Sol Punta Cana gives guests one free court hour a day.
Where courts are charged, published rates as of October 2026 include €13 to €17 an hour at ILUNION Miramar in Fuengirola (ilunionhotels.com), €20 an hour plus VAT at Lyttos Beach in Crete (lyttosbeach.gr) and £80 an hour for a doubles court at Gleneagles, rackets included (gleneagles.com). A one-hour coaching session at Gleneagles costs £100 for one player and £185 for four. Room rates change daily; live prices are on each resort page.
When should you go on a padel holiday?
For winter padel, go to the Canary Islands, Thailand or the Caribbean; for summer, the Mediterranean and the UK work best. Club La Santa in Lanzarote and Playitas in Fuerteventura play year-round, and Club La Santa’s courts are floodlit from 7.15am to 10.15pm.
Phuket and Khao Lak in Thailand are driest from November to April. In the Mediterranean, spring and autumn are more comfortable for daytime play than July and August, and many Greek and Italian beach resorts open seasonally. In wet or cold weather, indoor courts help: Lyttos Beach in Crete has 4 indoor courts and Gleneagles in Scotland has 3.
Padel holiday, resort or tour operator: which should you book?
Book a resort stay yourself if you want to choose the hotel and play at your own pace; book a tour operator package if you want coaching hours, group play and partners arranged for you. With a resort stay, you book the room and then book courts or lessons with the resort. Padeli lists 103 such resorts, with court counts for each.
Specialist operators such as Padel Breaks and Active Away sell set packages, usually combining accommodation with coaching sessions and organised matches. Compare what each includes: coaching hours, court time, flights and group size. A third route is to ask Nadine, Padeli’s padel travel expert, who plans group trips and coaching weeks, including flights, transfers and court time. Asking is free and there is no obligation to book.
Which padel holiday resorts have indoor courts?
Lyttos Beach in Crete has 4 indoor padel courts and 1 outdoor court, and Gleneagles in Perthshire has 3 indoor courts. Prime Plaza Hotel Sanur in Bali has 2 semi-outdoor courts on its third floor, and the Rafa Nadal Academy in Mallorca and Quinta do Lago in the Algarve both have indoor courts.
Are there padel holidays for families with children?
Yes. Martinhal Sagres in the Algarve has coaches for children and adults, Pine Cliffs Resort has a kids’ village for children from six months to eight years, and Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic runs junior padel clinics.
