Al Jazira Entertainment Hub

Al Jazira Entertainment Hub, branded locally as Al Jazira District, sits on Plot P36, E22 02, Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi. It is on Al Muroor Road, right next to Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium. The site is the leisure arm of Al Jazira Club.

The hub packages three padel courts with a 7-a-side artificial grass football pitch, a Metrix interactive football zone, cafes and a private events area. It is a five-minute drive from Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Street (E20) and around fifteen minutes from Abu Dhabi Corniche, pulling players from Al Nahyan, Mushrif and downtown.

The mood is family-friendly rather than tournament-serious. The hub markets itself as Abu Dhabi’s premier entertainment destination, and reviewers consistently flag the friendly staff, well-kept turf and easy on-site parking. The current Google rating sits at 4.9 from 84 reviews.

The padel courts

The hub operates three padel courts, numbered Court 1, Court 2 and Court 3. All are built to international doubles standard with full glass back walls and mesh sides. The playing surface is synthetic turf, the standard Abu Dhabi specification that suits the climate and holds up to year-round outdoor play.

Courts are open-air and floodlit, so play continues into the late evening once the heat drops. Non-marking shoes are mandatory and barefoot play is not permitted. Booking is capped at four players per court, in line with standard padel doubles play.

Rackets and balls are available on site through a hire bundle priced at AED 19.05 for one racket and three balls. That is enough for a casual session if you arrive without your own gear.

Booking and access

Court hire is sold by the court, not by the player, with 60 and 90 minute slots running from 08:00 to 23:30 daily. You can book through the venue’s own system at ajdistrict.ae or on Playtomic, where live rates show at the booking step.

On-site parking is free and ample, sitting alongside the stadium parking. There are changing rooms, showers, drinking water stations, a seating area, a warm-up zone and first aid next to the padel courts.

Programme and social

Al Jazira District positions itself as a community sports hub more than an academy. Casual mix-ins and social bookings build through Playtomic, where you can join open matches with players of similar level. The hub also runs themed family days and birthday packages alongside the padel courts.

On-site cafes give you somewhere to sit between matches. The connected football pitch and Metrix arena make it easy to combine padel with a 7-a-side or interactive football session for a group, which is unusual for an Abu Dhabi padel venue.

Coaching is not run as a permanent in-house academy at the time of writing. Private lessons with visiting freelance coaches can be requested via the booking email, with rates quoted on request.

Best for

Al Jazira Entertainment Hub suits families, casual social players and Al Jazira Club fans who want a relaxed padel session combined with food, football or kids’ activities in one place. Easy parking and stadium-adjacent location make it strong for groups and mixed-ability evening play.

It is less suited to players hunting a structured competitive ladder, a deep coaching pathway or panoramic indoor courts. If you want air-conditioned indoor padel or a full academy programme, three outdoor courts will feel light. For a friendly evening match next to one of Abu Dhabi’s biggest stadiums, it is hard to beat.
