ESS Padel Saadiyat is the Saadiyat Island home of Empower Sport Services, located within the Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Villas complex at Al Saadiyat Island, SDN1, Abu Dhabi. The club sits a short walk from the Park Hyatt’s beachfront and is reached via Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Highway (E12) and the Saadiyat Bridge.

The site is run by Empower Sport Services, founded in 2022 by former pro player Marta Apraiz and businesswoman Safaa Bahman with a stated mission to grow padel in the UAE and empower women and juniors through sport.

Saadiyat is the brand’s beachside flagship and runs alongside ESS Padel Indoor at Le Meridien Al Zahiyah on the mainland, giving members two contrasting Abu Dhabi settings under one academy roof.

The padel courts

ESS Padel Saadiyat is built around two panoramic WPT-design outdoor padel courts laid with Mondo Supercourt XN synthetic turf, the same surface used on the international professional circuit.

The panoramic glass and open layout suit the coastal light and give spectators a clear view from the surrounding terrace, with shaded seating between matches and views across the resort gardens.

Both courts are floodlit for evening play, with sessions running well past sunset to suit the local climate. With only two courts, the venue feels boutique rather than busy, and members tend to know each other from regular mix-ins and clinics.

Court hire is pay-and-play through Playtomic, with all live rates and availability shown at the booking step. You can book a court on Playtomic in 60, 90 or 120 minute slots.

Peak evening and weekend slots tend to price higher than quieter midday windows. Live rates show on Playtomic at the moment of booking, so the displayed total already reflects the time and day you have chosen.

The club is open daily from 06:00 to 00:00, which suits early morning sessions before the heat and late-night doubles after work. Free parking is available within the Park Hyatt grounds, with changing rooms, lockers, showers and WiFi on site.

A small pro shop stocks rackets and overgrips, and racket hire is available at reception for visitors who want to try padel before buying. Bookings can be cancelled or rescheduled through the Playtomic app subject to the club’s standard cancellation window.
