Emirates Padel Center HBZ brings professional padel to Al Ain inside Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium on Hamdan Bin Zayed the First Street, Al Tiwayya, Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. The venue is part of the Emirates Padel network with sister locations at the Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi and Danube Sports World in Dubai.
Co-founded by professional players Fermin ‘Batata’ Ferreyra and Eugenio ‘Khalifa’ Ferreyra, Emirates Padel was built to make professional techniques and equipment accessible to everyone. The brand partners with Adidas, Fernando Belasteguin, and Padel Galis for court construction and equipment distribution.
In February 2021, Emirates Padel signed a partnership with Al Ain Club at the Chairman’s Lounge inside the stadium. This made Al Ain Club the first sports club in the UAE to house a dedicated padel academy. The 22,717-seat stadium opened in 2014 and serves as the home ground for Al Ain FC.
The padel courts
Emirates Padel Center HBZ padel facilities include five outdoor double courts with crystal synthetic grass surfaces. All courts were built by Padel Galis using the Mundial court model, designed to meet international competition standards. Every court is floodlit for evening sessions under professional-grade lighting.
The outdoor setting sits within the stadium precinct, giving players a unique training backdrop. Crystal synthetic turf provides consistent ball bounce and reliable grip across varying weather conditions. Court surfaces are maintained to professional specifications matching the brand’s Ritz-Carlton and Danube Sports World locations.
Emirates Padel operates 19 courts in total across the UAE, with five at HBZ, five at the Ritz-Carlton, and nine at Danube Sports World. The HBZ courts represent the same quality standard found at the brand’s luxury hotel locations, delivered at a more accessible price point.
Booking and access
Courts open daily from 16:00 to 00:00. The Playtomic system shows broader availability from 07:00 to 01:00 on some days. Bookings are made through Playtomic, where all five courts are listed for online reservation with live pricing.
The venue provides equipment rental for players without their own gear, making it easy for newcomers to try padel. Free parking is available in the stadium car park, along with changing rooms and complimentary WiFi throughout the facility.
