About Padelsphere

Padelsphere is an indoor padel club at Unit F, Progressive Court, 6 Spencer Rd, Blyth NE24 5TG. It opened in 2026 with three panoramic courts, a licensed bar and cafe, two infrared saunas and peak court hire at £40 per court per hour.

The club is on Spencer Rd in Blyth, Northumberland. It is open from 7am to 11pm on weekdays and from 7am to 10pm at weekends, and every court is indoors, so games go ahead whatever the weather on the coast.

The padel courts

Padelsphere has three full panoramic glass courts: two doubles courts and one singles court. The singles court suits two players who want a hard workout or a lesson-style practice session without needing to find a four.

An AI camera films every match on both doubles courts, free of charge. After a game, players get instant highlights of their best points plus stats on shots and speed, which makes it easy to track progress over a season.

Booking, access and prices

Courts are booked on Playtomic, and the cost can be split between the players. A doubles court costs £28 for 60 minutes off-peak and £40 at peak, or £40 and £56 for 90 minutes. Off-peak runs Monday to Friday from 7am to 3pm.

Peak time is Monday to Friday from 3pm to 11pm and all weekend. A peak doubles hour works out at £10 each for four players. The singles court costs £16 off-peak and £22 at peak for 60 minutes, or £22 and £30 for 90 minutes.

Rackets and balls can be hired at reception, so a first game needs only trainers and sportswear. Parking is free on site, with free street parking right outside. For questions, call +44 1670 331703 or email hello@padelsphere.io.

Three membership tiers cut the cost of regular play: Purple at £15 a month, Black at £30 and Gold at £50. Each tier takes a share off every booking and includes sauna sessions, and the whole venue can be hired for birthdays, work socials and corporate padel days.

Programme and social

The Padel & Coffee social mix-in is the way in for anyone without a regular four. Players turn up, meet others and rotate partners over a coffee, and every level is welcome. Members also play in the Members League, which has played its first matchday, and in members-only box leagues.

Coaching and a fuller events programme are still to come, so new players are best starting at a mix-in. The club shares what is on next through its Instagram and Facebook pages, so it is worth following both before planning a first visit.

Bar, cafe and saunas

The licensed bar and cafe is open to everyone, players or not. Ringtons coffee is served through the day, then beers, wine and spirits in the evening, alongside a menu of high-protein food. Live Sky Sports and TNT Sports are shown on the screens.

There are two infrared saunas, one male and one female, each taking up to 2 people for 30-minute sessions. Non-members pay £5 a session. Full male and female changing rooms have showers, and there is an accessible changing room.

Best for

Padelsphere suits players across Blyth and Northumberland who want indoor courts, a proper bar and a sauna after a game. The mix-ins make it easy to start without a group, and the singles court gives two players a game of their own.

For a first game, the beginner’s guide to padel in the UK covers the basics. Nearby, Pure Padel Gosforth and Project Padel Newcastle are the closest clubs, and padel clubs in Northumberland lists the rest of the county.

What players say

5.0 on Google from 25 reviews. This is the venue's Google rating, which may cover more than padel.

Played a doubles game last night. Outstanding facilities, amazing pitches and very friendly staff. There was a lad behind the desk who was very friendly and taught us how to use the built in camera on the court. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a padel club.
