Game4Padel | Withdean Sports Complex

Game4Padel | Withdean Sports Complex opened 2026 with Brighton’s first covered padel courts, three panoramic courts under a canopy structure at 8 Shepherds Croft, BN1 5JF.

The covered build differentiates Withdean from the network’s seafront Hove Beach Park site, giving Brighton padel players a year-round option through the wet south-coast climate. Sister G4P venues at Edinburgh Park and The Padel Yard Wandsworth.

The courts

Three covered panoramic padel courts at the Withdean Sports Complex site. Canopy-covered build with sides open for cross-breeze airflow. Indoor LED lighting through evening play (floodlit for full evening use). Brighton’s first covered padel build, opened 2026.

Booking and access

Court hire bookable through MATCHi at MATCHi. Pay-and-play, with G4P network membership unlocking reduced rates and shared booking benefits across all UK sites. The Withdean Sports Complex setting puts the venue inside the wider Withdean stadium grounds, with the Brighton suburbs of Patcham, Westdene and Preston Park nearby. On-site parking via the Sports Complex.

Programme and social

The wider Withdean Sports Complex brings the established athletics, tennis and racquet-sports calendar alongside the padel. The covered-court advantage makes Withdean Brighton’s most reliable wet-weather padel venue, complementing the seafront Hove Beach Park site. Daily mix-ins, beginner socials, group lessons and Americano tournaments run through the in-house Padel Academy programme. Group bookings handled directly through the venue.

Best for

Brighton, Patcham, Westdene, Preston Park and the wider Sussex players who want covered indoor padel as a wet-weather alternative to the seafront Hove site, combined-racquet-sport players using the wider Withdean Sports Complex, and G4P network regulars adding Brighton’s first covered courts. Less suited to anyone wanting fully outdoor seafront play (the Hove site covers that).

Coaching at Game4Padel Withdean runs through the G4P network programme, with private lessons, group coaching, junior pathway sessions and weekly Americano tournaments. The covered-court setup supports year-round coaching that the seafront Hove site cannot offer in winter. Bookings made through MATCHi alongside court hire. Network membership unlocks reduced coaching rates across all G4P UK sites.
