S3 Padel Bristol Filton - Social Sports Society

S3 Padel Bristol Filton is a six-court padel venue on the South Gloucestershire and Stroud College (SGS College) campus at Unit 2b, Fox Den Road, Filton Retail Park, Stoke Gifford, Bristol BS34 8SP. The site is operated by Social Sports Society (S3), one of the UK’s leading padel multi-site operators with sister venues in London (S3 Padel Brent Cross, S3 Padel Sutton, Padel Social Club at The O2). The Filton site is the brand’s South West flagship and combines competition-spec courts with a clubhouse atmosphere, table tennis, shuffleboard and a fully licensed bar.

The courts

Six floodlit padel courts at S3 Padel Bristol Filton, set in a purpose-built S3 build on the SGS College campus. All six courts run on the same Social Sports Society spec used across the brand’s London network, with floodlit conditions through to midnight every day for evening play. The college campus setting gives the venue a calm, low-traffic feel without the industrial-estate vibe of other Bristol padel sites.

Booking and access

Court hire is bookable through Playtomic or via Playskan, with rates from £20 per hour. The venue is open 06:00 to 00:00 daily, with the long booking window suited to early-morning, lunchtime, evening and late-night sessions. Free on-site parking, plus good bus links to Bristol city centre. PadelPlus membership starts at £7.50 per month and unlocks priority bookings, discounted court rates, free racket rental and entry to monthly member socials. Direct contact via bristolfilton@socialsportssociety.com or +44 7703 968986.

Programme and social

S3 runs a full schedule of group classes and private lessons led by professional coaches across beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. Beyond coaching, the club organises mix-in social padel sessions, fun tournaments and member-only events. The clubhouse adds the licensed bar, plus table tennis and shuffleboard for between-match downtime. The wider Social Sports Society network gives members a route into inter-venue tournaments connecting Bristol with the brand’s London sites.

Best for

Bristol players who want a six-court Social Sports Society venue with a polished clubhouse atmosphere, structured coaching pathway and inter-venue connection to the wider S3 London network. The early 06:00 opening also suits before-work players. Less suited to anyone wanting outdoor padel - all six courts are floodlit but covered.

S3 Padel Bristol Filton runs a full coaching programme with professional in-house coaches across beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. Daily group classes sit alongside private lessons and mix-in social sessions. PadelPlus members get discounted coaching rates.
