About PDL Padel United - Wirral
PDL Padel United - Wirral opened in May 2023 at Port Sunlight Lawn Tennis Club, with five floodlit outdoor padel courts run by Padel United UK. The 7am to 11pm daily schedule and free on-site parking make it a flexible option for evening league play and weekend mix-ins on the Wirral.
The courts
Port Sunlight hosts five floodlit outdoor padel courts with artificial grass playing surfaces. Built to professional standards, the facility opened in May 2023 and has become central to padel growth on the Wirral. Courts are available for pay-and-play bookings daily from 7am to 11pm.
The venue also features a hitting wall and full clubhouse facilities with changing rooms, showers, and a bar. Free racket hire is included with all court bookings. Future plans include a potential five-court indoor facility on the same site.
Booking and access
Book courts via Playtomic or through the Clubspark portal. Court hire costs GBP 15-22 per hour. Members of Port Sunlight LTC receive 30% off court fees, free parking, and complimentary equipment hire. The venue sits at Leverhulme Playing Fields, Warren Lane, Bromborough, with free on-site parking for all visitors.
Mix-in sessions run regularly for players seeking social play with other members. The club maintains a ‘Padel on the Wirral’ WhatsApp group to share updates and organise games. Contact Miles Bromilow on 07307 678 432 for membership enquiries.
