About Let’s Go Padel Carryduff
Let’s Go Padel Carryduff is the original site and flagship of the Let’s Go Padel chain, set inside the Let’s Go Hydro adventure resort at 1 Mealough Road, Knockbracken Reservoir, Carryduff, Belfast BT8 8GB.
The club sits roughly fifteen minutes south of Belfast city centre via the A24 and Saintfield Road, with easy access from the A55 outer ring and the M1. Founder Pete Boyle, who also runs the neighbouring Let’s Go Hydro water park, opened these courts in July 2025 as the launchpad for the wider Northern Ireland roll-out.
More on the brand and chain locations is on the Let’s Go Padel website. The Carryduff site is the busiest of the group and acts as the operational base for Mateo van der Merwe, the chain’s Head of Padel.
The padel courts at Let’s Go Padel Carryduff
The club operates eleven padel courts across three formats. Six are covered doubles courts, four are covered singles courts, and one is Ireland’s only floating outdoor padel court, anchored on Knockbracken Reservoir.
The covered courts sit under a permanent open-sided roof so play continues through Northern Irish wind and rain. The floating court is reserved for fair-weather sessions, corporate away days and birthday parties.
Courts are panoramic-style glass and steel with synthetic turf playing surfaces and full LED lighting on the covered structures, so evening sessions look and play the same as midday ones. A separate pickleball court is also available if your group wants to mix codes.
Booking and access
Bookings run through Playtomic. The simplest route is the Let’s Go Padel app or the web booking page - you can book a court on Playtomic for any of the eleven courts.
Live rates show at the checkout step on Playtomic and vary by court type, time of day and day of the week. Peak evening and weekend slots on the covered courts sit at the top of the range, with off-peak weekday mornings the cheapest.
Standard slot length is sixty minutes, with ninety minute options on the covered courts. The floating court is usually sold as a session block for groups rather than a regular sixty minute slot.
Racket and ball hire are available at reception, and the cancellation policy follows Playtomic’s standard window. The club is open 10am to 11pm on weekdays and 9am to 10pm at weekends. Parking is free and plentiful at the Hydro site.
For enquiries that need a human, the team can be reached on +44 28 9592 0221 or by email at padel@letsgohydro.com.
Padel programme and social play
The social calendar runs through a mix of organised events and drop-in play. Smash and Social Saturdays sit between noon and two each weekend, and the club runs ad-hoc mix-ins, beginner clinics and themed nights through Playtomic and the Let’s Go Padel NI Facebook page.
The floating court is regularly used for corporate away days, hen and stag parties and birthdays, often bundled with Hydro’s water park access, glamping pods and adventure activities.
The venue runs structured coaching through the Let’s Go Padel academy - see the coaching tab for tier-by-tier pricing. Group clinics, juniors sessions and one-to-one lessons are all available, and slots are bookable through Playtomic or directly with the coaching team.
Best for
Carryduff suits Belfast and County Down players who want covered, all-weather padel courts at a real destination venue rather than a bolted-on tennis club. Singles players are well served with four dedicated courts, which is rare in the UK and Ireland.
The on-site bar, the link to Let’s Go Hydro and the floating court make it the obvious pick for group bookings, birthdays and corporate days.
It is less suited to players who want a quiet, members-only club feel or who need city-centre access without a car - the site is built around the Hydro resort and works best for groups arriving by car or minibus.
