Tennis England Club

Tennis England Club is the racket sports arm of England Sports Group, based at the Imber Court Sports Ground on Ember Lane, East Molesey, Surrey KT8 0BT. The padel offer centres on four brand new outdoor floodlit courts, alongside two pickleball courts and nine tennis courts.

Junction 1 of the M3 and the A309 are both a short drive away, and Hampton Court station sits just across the river, making this a genuinely accessible spot for padel in East Molesey from across south-west London and north Surrey.

The wider 90-acre site has a clubhouse with a cafe, restaurant and snack bar, free parking, WiFi, disabled access, a play park and changing facilities. Tennis England Club itself runs as a relaxed, community-focused racket sports club where pay-and-play customers, members, families and juniors share the same courts and programmes.

The padel courts

There are four full-size double padel courts, all outdoor with full perimeter glass and floodlights for evening play. The surface is a crystal-style synthetic turf in the standard padel blue, with sand infill that drains well in wet weather and stays predictable when damp.

The courts run on a north-south orientation typical for Surrey clubs, which keeps low sun out of the line of play for most of the day. Floodlighting extends the playable day well past sunset, with the site open daily from 07:00 to 22:00 and a small floodlight fee after dark on top of the court fee.

Booking and access

All non-member court hire runs through Playtomic. You can book a padel court on Playtomic in 60 or 90 minute slots, with live availability across the four courts and instant confirmation.

Members book through the club’s internal system at a discounted rate of around £2 per 30 minutes, while non-member peak rates show on Playtomic at the booking step. A floodlight surcharge of roughly £2 per 30 minutes applies once the lights are on.

The courts are open seven days a week from 07:00 to 22:00. Cancellations follow Playtomic’s standard policy, and full courts must be paid for at booking. For bat hire, group bookings and corporate sessions, ring the club on 0800 043 0707 (Mon-Fri 09:00-16:30) or email info@englandsportsgroup.com.

Parking is free on site with plenty of capacity, and the clubhouse cafe, restaurant and snack bar are all open before and after sessions for food, drinks and a quick post-match catch-up. Disabled access runs through to the courts and changing rooms.

Padel programme and social

The club runs a structured weekly programme through England Sports Group, including adult group sessions, a weekly junior padel club, beginner and improver clinics and ad-hoc mix-ins for members. Social events, mini tournaments and adult and family padel days appear regularly on the events calendar.

Members get priority access to social play and discounted entry to in-house tournaments. Coaching is delivered in-house by the England Sports Group team, with private 1-to-1, pairs and group-of-four formats for adults plus a dedicated junior pathway.

Best for

Best for south-west London and north Surrey players who want four genuine outdoor floodlit padel courts on a well-run multi-sport site with parking, a cafe and a proper coaching programme. Strong fit for families who already play tennis or pickleball and want to add padel without changing venue.

Casual pay-and-play groups who are happy to book via Playtomic will get on well here. Less of a fit for players who specifically want covered or indoor padel through the winter, as all four courts are fully open to the sky. Heavy rain and strong wind will still close the courts.
