Game4Padel GOLF IT! is a three-court outdoor padel offer at the reimagined 100-year-old Lethamhill site at 1240 Cumbernauld Road, Glasgow G33 1AH. The padel courts launched in 2023 as part of the GOLF IT! multi-sport development run by The R&A, which sits alongside a 52-bay double-decker floodlit driving range, a nine-hole championship course, three adventure golf layouts and a Big Feed street food kitchen. The padel arm is delivered by Game4Padel, the UK’s largest padel network, with a multi-venue membership model that gives access across all Game4Padel sites for £10 per month.
The courts
Three outdoor padel courts at Game4Padel GOLF IT!, on sand-dressed synthetic grass surface with full LED floodlight spec for evening play. Glass back walls and full FIP-standard 20m x 10m dimensions across all three courts. The outdoor build means weather can affect play in winter, but the floodlit setup runs all year through the 08:00 to 22:00 daily window.
Booking and access
Court hire is bookable through Matchi on a per-player per-hour basis. Non-member rates: £6 per player per hour weekday daytime (08:00 to 17:00), £8 per player per hour evenings and weekends. Member rates (Game4Padel membership £10 per month, multi-venue across the UK network): £4 per player per hour weekday daytime, £6 per player per hour evenings and weekends. Doubles play takes four players per court. Rackets are free to borrow from the venue. Direct enquiries to info@game4padel.com.
Programme and social
Coaching is delivered by Craig McBride, one of Scotland’s first LTA-accredited padel coaches, who trained as a player and coach in Malaga and completed the Padel MBA CPC. Coaching covers beginner clinics, intermediate sessions on shot selection and tactical play, plus competitive matchplay for league players. The Box League and PadelLevels integration give a route to ranked match results, and Americano-format tournaments run regularly. The wider GOLF IT! site adds the driving range, the championship golf course and the Big Feed street food market for between-match food.
Best for
North-east Glasgow players who want low entry-cost padel (from £4 per hour with membership) at a multi-sport venue with broader food and entertainment on site. The Game4Padel network membership unlocks access at sister sites across the UK, useful for travelling players. Less suited to anyone who needs indoor padel through Scottish winter weather, since all three courts are outdoor.
