Dillington Padel

Dillington Padel is an indoor padel venue at Whitelackington, Farm, Ilminster TA19 9EG. Run by the Dillington Estate, it has two ultra panoramic indoor courts inside a converted barn, open from 06:00 to 23:00 every day and booked through Playtomic.

Dillington Padel sits on the Dillington Estate at Whitelackington, just outside Ilminster in Somerset. The estate converted one of its barns to house the courts, so play carries on under a roof whatever the weather is doing outside.

Dillington Padel welcomes everyone. The venue describes padel as a sport for young and old, for experienced ball players and complete novices alike, and that open door shapes everything from racket hire to the social sessions listed on Playtomic.

Dillington Padel keeps the basics simple: dedicated parking on site, a vending machine for snacks, drinks and padel gear, toilets and wifi. Visitors should note that there are no changing rooms or showers, so arrive ready to play.

The courts

Dillington Padel has two indoor padel courts, both built to an ultra panoramic design. Panoramic courts use glass with minimal framing, which gives players a clearer view of the ball and lets anyone watching from the side follow every rally.

Both courts at Dillington Padel are indoors, inside the converted barn, so there are no outdoor courts on site. Indoor play means bookings are not at the mercy of Somerset rain or wind, which matters most through the autumn and winter months.

Dillington Padel offers racket hire on site, and padel balls can be bought from the vending machine. A first visit therefore needs nothing more than comfortable sports clothing and suitable court shoes.

Booking and access

Dillington Padel takes every booking through Playtomic, on the app or on the Dillington Padel Playtomic page. Players pick a court and a time, pay online and receive confirmation straight away, which suits regular groups and newcomers alike.

Dillington Padel is open from 06:00 to 23:00 every day of the week. The early start suits players who want a game before work, while the late finish leaves room for evening doubles after a full day.

Peak court hire at Dillington Padel is from £38 per court per hour, which works out at about £9.50 each when four players share the court. Off-peak rates and the full price list are shown on Playtomic when you choose a slot.

Dillington Padel can be reached by phone on 01460 57075 for questions that the booking flow does not answer. More detail about the courts sits on the Dillington Estate padel page.

Programme and social

Dillington Padel lists coaching, socials and competitions on Playtomic, alongside ordinary court bookings. Players book these sessions in the same app they use for courts, so it is easy to see what is coming up across the week.

Dillington Padel socials are a straightforward way to meet other players at a similar level without organising a four yourself. The venue says it looks forward to seeing new members of its padel community at one of the socials.

Dillington Padel competitions give regulars a reason to keep improving. Newer players who want to understand scoring and serving before their first event can read our guide to padel rules explained.
