Square One Sittingbourne

Square One Sittingbourne is the second site from the Kent-born Square One Padel brand. The club sits at Unit 5, Cremers Road, Dolphin Park, Sittingbourne ME10 3US, a short drive from junction 5 of the M2 and the A249 link to the M20.

The venue opened on the Eurolink industrial estate in April 2026, converting a vacant industrial unit into a purpose-built indoor padel facility. It is the first padel club anywhere in the Swale district, founded by Sam De Haan after the success of the flagship Square One Padel in Ashford.

The wider site is pitched as a padel and social club rather than a pure court rental. A £1 million-plus build brings together panoramic courts, a members gym, a restaurant and bar, a reformer pilates studio and recovery spaces under one roof, with around fifty jobs created on opening.

The padel courts

The masterplan for Square One Sittingbourne is nine indoor padel courts, with seven to eight bookable at launch and the remaining courts phased in. The live court layout on Playtomic lists six double courts and a dedicated singles court, all set inside the climate-controlled hall on Cremers Road.

Every court follows the Square One template established in Ashford: fully panoramic glass walls, professional-spec artificial turf in the brand’s signature blue, and LED lighting tuned for evening play and streaming. The hall is laid out for tournament use, with clear sightlines from the cafe and bar.

The mix of double and singles courts is a deliberate Square One choice. A dedicated singles court is rare in the UK and gives stronger players a faster, more demanding format for drills and one-on-one matches, while the six doubles courts feed the club’s social and league programmes.

Booking and access for padel

Court bookings run through Playtomic. You can book a court on Playtomic in 60, 90 or 120 minute slots, with live availability across all courts. Live rates show at the booking step on Playtomic and shift by day, time and court.

Opening hours run 06:00 to 23:00 Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 23:00 on Saturdays and 07:00 to 22:00 on Sundays. That spread covers early-morning sessions before work and late evening leagues. Booking queries and general enquiries go to info@squareonepadel.com.

Free on-site parking is shared with the wider Dolphin Park scheme, and the club is around ten minutes by car from Sittingbourne railway station for visitors coming in from London Victoria or Faversham. Step-free access runs through to the courts, cafe and changing rooms.

Padel programme and social

The programme mirrors the Ashford site, with mixed-level social mix-ins, ladies’ nights, junior sessions and an academy pathway for ambitious players. Group clinics and themed evenings run through the week, and the club hosts entry-level tournaments and league fixtures on the singles and doubles courts.

Off-court, the social club layer is the differentiator. Members and visitors use the on-site restaurant and bar between sessions, browse the pro shop for rackets and grips, and book into reformer pilates, on-site physiotherapy and recovery spaces including ice baths.

Coaching is delivered in house by the Square One team, with one-to-one lessons, small-group clinics and a junior academy pathway. See the coaching tab on this listing for the current tiers and how to enquire.

Best for

Square One Sittingbourne suits players in north Kent and the Medway towns who want a brand new indoor venue with serious build quality. It is a strong fit for juniors, beginners taking lessons, mixed social groups and league players who want consistent panoramic courts close to the M2.

It is less suited to players hunting bargain outdoor courts or pay-as-you-go pickup play without booking. Like its sister site, this is a premium indoor club with a busy diary, so peak evening and weekend slots are best secured several days ahead through Playtomic.

Square One Sittingbourne delivers coaching in-house through the Square One Padel team, with one-to-one lessons, small-group clinics and a junior academy pathway aligned to the programme proven at sister venue Square One Ashford.
