The Rally Hub

The Rally Hub is an indoor racket sports centre at Unit 1, Beeby Fields, Barkby Road, Beeby, Leicester LE7 3BQ. The venue sits just off the A607 in the village of Beeby, around five miles north-east of Leicester city centre and within easy reach of Syston, Thurmaston and the A46.

The centre brings padel together with pickleball, badminton, pop tennis, mini tennis and table tennis under one roof, giving Leicestershire players a relaxed, weather-proof home for the sport. The padel offer is run by the team behind The Rally Hub.

Founder Edd also coaches at Syston Northfields Tennis Club and Sileby Tennis and Pickleball Club. He won the Leicestershire stage of the LTA Coach of the Year award and was runner-up at national level in 2022, which sets the tone for how padel is delivered here.

The atmosphere is deliberately beginner-friendly. Many players arriving for padel at The Rally Hub are picking up a racket for the first time, and the venue keeps things social and pressure-free rather than pitching itself as a high-performance training base.

The courts

There is one indoor padel court at The Rally Hub, set up as a standard doubles court with glass back walls and full mesh sides. The court sits inside the main covered hall, which keeps play comfortable through Leicestershire winters and avoids the wind and rain that can disrupt outdoor courts in the East Midlands.

Indoor LED lighting covers the playing surface for evening sessions, and balls are included with every booking. Rackets can be hired on-site for £4 per person, which makes it straightforward to bring along a friend who has never tried padel before.

Booking padel and access

Court hire is bookable online through Playtomic and via the LTA ClubSpark portal, so you can choose whichever platform you already use. The main link is book a court on Playtomic, with the LTA route available at the ClubSpark page above.

Public-facing rates across the racket-sport mix run from around £12 to £40 per hour depending on time of day, with 60 and 90 minute slots offered through the booking system. Live padel rates show at the final booking step on Playtomic, where peak evening and weekend slots sit at the upper end and weekday daytime sessions at the lower end.

The centre is open daily from 08:00 to 21:00, with a slightly later 09:00 start on Sundays. On-site parking is free, the building has step-free disabled access, and there is a cafe corner with snacks, drinks and a vending machine. WiFi is available throughout. For non-booking queries you can call 07800 599057 or message via the ClubSpark contact form.

Programme and social padel

The Rally Hub coaching is delivered by Rise Up Racket Sports, the same team that runs lessons at Syston Northfields Tennis Club. Adult beginner sessions, junior coaching and one-to-one lessons can all be arranged through the venue, with detail and pricing handled directly with the coaching team - see the coaching tab on this listing for tiers.

Beyond formal lessons, the venue runs a WhatsApp group where members and regulars hear about social mix-ins, internal events and informal padel meet-ups. Because the centre shares its hall with pickleball, badminton and pop tennis, it suits players who want to try the wider racket-sport mix in one trip rather than treating padel as a stand-alone visit.

Equipment hire is straightforward, with rackets and balls available for all sports. The cafe area gives players somewhere to sit between matches, and the relaxed atmosphere makes it easy to stay on after a session and chat with whoever else is playing.

Best for padel in Leicester

The Rally Hub is best suited to Leicester and Leicestershire players who want a low-pressure, indoor introduction to padel and a friendly weekly hit, with the bonus of a respected coaching team on the doorstep. It works well for families, mixed-ability friend groups and players combining padel with pickleball or badminton.

It is less suited to high-volume tournament players or club teams that need multiple simultaneous courts, since there is only one padel court. Anyone after that kind of capacity will be better served at a larger multi-court venue in the wider Leicestershire and East Midlands area.

Coaching at The Rally Hub is delivered by Rise Up Racket Sports, the local team led by Edd, who won the Leicestershire stage of the LTA Coach of the Year award and was runner-up at national level in 2022. Adult, junior and one-to-one padel sessions can all be arranged through the venue.
