The padel courts

All 4 courts at Padel Pals are Super Panoramic courts with cameras, under a full indoor roof, so play goes ahead whatever the weather. Three are standard doubles courts and the fourth is a 12x6m singles court, a rarer find for players who want a faster, more demanding head-to-head game.

The singles court is also a natural fit for one-to-one coaching, where a full doubles court is more space than a coach and one player need. Disabled access and WiFi are available on site.

Rackets are available to hire from the Pro Shop for £5, and balls can be bought there for £8, so newcomers do not need their own kit to get started.

Padel programme and social play

Coaching at Padel Pals covers group coaching and one-to-one sessions, a good route in for beginners and for regulars who want to sharpen specific shots.

Juniors have their own programme led by qualified coaches on a custom-built 12m x 6m kids court. Mini Pals runs on Saturday mornings in groups of 6 max, Padel Cubs meets twice weekly, and the Academy Squad is a competitive group for ages 13 to 16.

Full-day holiday camps are on offer too, and new junior players get a complimentary first session, an easy way to see whether the sport sticks.

Social mix-ins and club events bring players together, and member events and tournaments are included in the Core membership. The Pulse membership adds full gym access and spa facilities access.

Before a first game, the padel beginners guide and padel rules explained cover the basics of scoring, serving and playing off the glass.

Best for

Padel Pals is best for players in London who want indoor courts all year, with a gym, sauna and ice bath under the same roof for a full training session.

It suits singles players, thanks to the dedicated singles court, and families, thanks to the junior programme and kids court. Off-peak weekday slots before 5pm are the cheapest way to book a doubles court.

Groups planning a longer visit can pair a court booking with time in the café and bar, or with a session on the golf simulator.
