About Game4Padel | THG SMASH Manchester
Game4Padel | THG SMASH Manchester is a single-court padel venue inside the THG Studios creative campus, opened 2025 as a partnership between Game4Padel and THG (the home of Gary Neville’s Overlap podcast, backed by Google and YouTube).
The court is the first outside the Premier League to use Google edge tech to analyse player games, making it one of the UK’s most technology-forward padel installs.
Sister Game4Padel UK venues across the wider network include The Padel Yard Wandsworth and Game4Padel Edinburgh Park.
The courts
One panoramic padel court at the THG Studios site, equipped with Google edge tech for player game analysis. Synthetic grass surface. The single-court setup is unusual for the G4P network and reflects the venue’s tech-and-content focus alongside standard play.
Booking and access
Court hire bookable through MATCHi (the G4P booking platform). Pay-and-play, with G4P network membership unlocking reduced rates across all UK sites. The THG Studios setting puts the venue inside the wider creative-campus complex, with on-site parking. Closest stations within Manchester depend on the THG site location - confirm via game4padel.com.
Programme and social
The single-court Game4Padel install at THG Studios runs as a tech-forward demo and corporate-event court rather than a high-volume social venue. Group bookings, corporate events and Google-edge-analysed sessions are arranged through Game4Padel directly. The wider G4P network membership applies to bookings here.
Best for
Manchester padel players who want to experience Google edge tech analysis on their game, content creators and corporate visitors using the THG Studios setting, and G4P network regulars adding a tech-forward single-court session to their UK chain visits. Less suited to anyone wanting multi-court play or pure walk-on access.
