Powerleague Manchester Nicholls

Powerleague Manchester Nicholls sits at the Nicholls Community Sports Ground on Dalberg Street in M12 Manchester, six covered panoramic padel courts converted from the existing Powerleague football centre.

The covered canopy build keeps the venue running year-round and the six-court roster supports league play, tournament hosting and group bookings at scale. The wider Powerleague Padel UK network includes the Edinburgh Portobello and Sighthill builds in Scotland alongside Birmingham and other UK chain sites.

The courts

Six covered panoramic padel courts at the Nicholls Community Sports Ground site. Indoor-style LED lighting through evening play. Roofed for full weather protection year-round. The covered canopy build delivers consistent court conditions through Manchester’s wet winters while preserving an open-air feel inside the existing community sports complex.

Booking and access

Court hire bookable through Playtomic on a pay-and-play basis from £7 per person on shared 60- or 90-minute sessions.

The Dalberg Street location in M12 puts the venue inside reach of central Manchester, Longsight, Levenshulme, Ardwick and the wider East Manchester catchment with on-site parking. Closest stations: Manchester Piccadilly and Ardwick (rail). The build sits a short hop from the Etihad Campus.

Programme and social

The build pairs the six padel courts with the wider Powerleague football centre offer, including a clubhouse, changing rooms and food alongside the courts. Daily mix-ins, beginner socials, structured group lessons and 1-on-1 sessions run through the in-house Powerleague Padel coaching programme.

The pay-and-play model and £7 per person entry point makes the venue one of Manchester’s most accessible covered padel offers. Group bookings, parties and corporate events handled directly. Powerleague Padel leagues and tournaments run through the calendar.

Best for

Manchester, Longsight, Levenshulme, Ardwick and the wider East Manchester catchment players who want covered padel at accessible pay-and-play rates, plus casual regulars combining padel with the wider Nicholls Community Sports clubhouse.

Players using the M12 location to add Powerleague to their Manchester-wide padel rotation, and Powerleague Padel network members combining sessions across the UK. Less suited to outdoor-first or flagship-spec premium players.

Coaching at Powerleague Manchester Nicholls runs through the in-house Powerleague Padel coaching team, with structured group lessons, beginner intros, introductory sessions and 1-on-1 sessions across all skill levels. The six-court roster supports league coaching and tournament-prep blocks, with Powerleague Padel running competitive ladders through the calendar.
