Everybody Padel - The Barony

Everybody Padel - The Barony brings four full-size outdoor panoramic padel courts to Barony Road, Nantwich, Cheshire CW5 5QY. The site sits inside the wider Barony Park Sports Complex, run by Everybody Health and Leisure on behalf of Cheshire East Council.

The courts are a short drive from the A51 and A500, with Nantwich town centre roughly a mile to the south and Crewe just over five miles east via the A534. Free on-site parking makes the venue easy to reach for players across south Cheshire.

The padel facility opened in early 2026 on a previously unused hard-surfaced sports area at the Barony Park site, giving south Cheshire a dedicated padel home alongside the centre’s athletics track, gym and pools. You can check details on the Everybody at The Barony site.

The padel courts

There are four outdoor courts in total, all built as full-size doubles courts with the now-standard panoramic glass back walls so spectators and waiting players get a clear view of every rally. The layout is purpose-built rather than converted, with proper run-off space behind each court.

The playing surface is artificial turf in the typical Spanish padel specification, with floodlighting fitted to every court so evening sessions run smoothly through the autumn and winter months. The courts sit on an open hard-court area, so they are exposed to weather, but lighting and drainage support year-round play.

Booking and access at Everybody Padel - The Barony

All padel bookings are handled through Playtomic. You can book a court on Playtomic via the app or website, with slots opening up to two weeks in advance and live availability updating in real time.

Court hire on Playtomic typically lands between £16 and £34 per court, depending on the day and time. The cheaper rates fall in off-peak mornings and the higher end covers weekday evenings and weekend prime slots. Everybody Health and Leisure members receive a 10 percent discount on padel bookings.

The padel courts are bookable seven days a week, running roughly from 08:00 to 21:00 Monday to Friday and 08:00 to 17:00 at weekends. The wider Barony Park building opens from 06:30 on weekdays for gym and pool users. Reception handles queries on 01270 685565.

Free racket hire, changing rooms, lockers and on-site parking are all part of the offer, so visiting players can turn up with nothing more than trainers and a water bottle. The wider sports complex has step-free access into the main reception and accessible facilities indoors.

Padel programme and social play

Everybody runs a structured padel programme alongside open court hire. Free introductory classes give complete beginners a no-cost way to try the sport, with regular social sessions priced from £12 that mix players of similar standards into friendly drop-in games.

Group lessons, leagues and coaching for all levels are offered through the in-house team, with booking and details handled via Playtomic and the venue reception. Junior padel sessions have already run through the local youth club, signalling a clear push to build the game at grassroots level in Nantwich.
