Destino Padel

Destino Padel sits at 3 Longland Lane, Farnsfield, Newark NG22 8HW, on the eastern edge of Nottinghamshire. The site is roughly 14 miles north-east of Nottingham city centre and a short drive from Mansfield, Southwell and Newark.

The club is a purpose-built indoor padel facility, founded by two local entrepreneurs who set out to bring world-class padel to the county. Four panoramic courts sit under one roof, alongside a social lounge, a dedicated gym and warm-up zone, and proper changing rooms with showers.

It is the kind of fully indoor, all-weather venue that Nottinghamshire players have been waiting for, with a smart-entry system that opens up early-morning and late-evening play. Book via destinopadel.com or directly on Playtomic.

The padel courts

The court line-up is four fully indoor, premium panoramic padel courts: three doubles courts and one singles court. Each is installed to current FIP specifications with toughened glass back walls and mesh side panels for full sight lines.

Indoor build means weather never cancels a session. LED floodlighting, climate control and a generous roof height keep play consistent through Nottinghamshire’s wettest winter weeks and the warmest summer evenings.

The surface is sand-dressed artificial turf in the standard panoramic-court colour scheme, balanced for consistent bounce and a forgiving feel underfoot. The singles court is a useful addition for one-on-one drills, conditioning sessions and quick after-work matches.

Booking and access

Court hire runs from 05:00 to 22:00 every day, with live availability and pricing shown at the booking step on Playtomic. Published indicative rates sit in the GBP 20 to GBP 32 per hour range depending on slot.

Off-peak mornings and weekday afternoons are the most affordable, with weekday evenings and weekend prime time at the upper end. Cancellation, deposit and racket-hire policies are confirmed at checkout in the Playtomic app, so there are no surprises at the door.

The smart-entry system means booked players can access the courts without a manned reception during early-morning and late-evening slots. On-site you will find free parking, lockers, Wi-Fi, racket and ball hire, vending machines and step-free access throughout.

Programme and social padel

Destino runs a structured padel programme covering beginner classes, group coaching sessions, social mix-ins and in-house tournaments. Academy slots are advertised from GBP 15 for a 60-minute session, with tournament entry from GBP 20 per player.

Mix-ins are organised by playing level, so newer players get matched fairly and improvers still get competitive games. The format gives juniors and adults a low-pressure way to meet other padel players in Nottinghamshire and build a regular game.

Follow the weekly schedule on the venue’s Instagram or TikTok feed for ladder updates, social slots and tournament announcements. Larger group bookings, birthdays and corporate sessions can be arranged via the website contact form.

Best for

Destino Padel is best suited to Nottinghamshire-based players who want a fully indoor, all-weather venue with proper amenities rather than a converted tennis hall. Beginners benefit from the structured academy pathway and friendly social mix-ins to ease into the sport.

Improving doubles players will appreciate the panoramic-court layout, while the dedicated singles court is a rare option locally for sharper, faster rallies. The on-site gym warm-up area is a useful extra before peak-time matches or tournament rounds.

With free parking, lockers, Wi-Fi, equipment hire and step-free access throughout, the club also works well for families, juniors and group bookings travelling in from Mansfield, Newark, Southwell or Nottingham itself.

For social hitters chasing a regular fixture, the level-based mix-ins make it easy to slot into a weekly evening. For competitive players, the in-house tournament calendar and singles court round out a venue that feels built around real padel play rather than a converted side-room.
