About PadelStars Reading
PadelStars Reading sits inside the Berkshire County Sports Club at Sonning Lane, four panoramic padel courts hosted within an established multi-sport club setting (tennis, squash, swimming and gym alongside the padel).
Sister PadelStars sites at Egham, Guildford and Bracknell, all serving the South East commuter belt with a multi-sport-club model.
The courts
Four outdoor panoramic padel courts at the Berkshire County Sports Club site. Floodlit through evening play. Open-air build for fresh-air play through the warmer months. The wider club setting brings tennis, squash, swimming and gym facilities alongside the courts.
Booking and access
Court hire bookable via the PadelStars network and through Playtomic. Pay-and-play access alongside Berkshire County Sports Club membership for regulars. Sonning location off the A4, putting the venue inside reach of Reading, Henley, Maidenhead, Wokingham and the wider Thames Valley with on-site parking. Closest stations: Reading (rail) and Twyford (rail).
Programme and social
The Berkshire County Sports Club setting brings tennis, squash, swimming, gym and clubhouse hospitality alongside the courts, making it a cross-discipline membership offer rather than a single-sport venue. Daily mix-ins, beginner socials and structured group lessons run through the in-house PadelStars coaching programme. Group bookings, parties and corporate events handled directly through the venue. Tournament play through the calendar.
Best for
Reading, Sonning, Henley, Maidenhead, Wokingham and the wider Thames Valley players who want padel inside an established multi-sport club, regulars combining padel with tennis or gym sessions, and PadelStars network members combining sessions across the South East. Less suited to dedicated indoor-only players given the open-air court build.
