Vida del Padel - Sheffield

Vida del Padel Sheffield is a two-court indoor padel venue at Excel Dance Academy on Longacre Way, Sothall, S20 3FS. The site is part of the wider Vida del Padel UK network founded by Ross, Cory and Jan in April 2024.

The venue runs daily from 06:00 to 23:00 with both peak and off-peak booking slots, and is geared towards an inclusive social model with regular WhatsApp-coordinated events and community sessions.

The courts

Two indoor padel courts at Vida del Padel Sheffield, both fully enclosed for year-round play with floodlit conditions for evening and early-morning sessions. The two-court size keeps the booking pattern manageable and puts the focus on social play and community-driven events rather than mass-market court churn.

The Sothall location sits a short drive from central Sheffield off the A6135 corridor.

Booking and access

Court hire is bookable through Playtomic with rates running £32 to £40 per hour depending on time slot. Peak hours (evenings and weekends) sit at the higher end of the range; off-peak weekday slots offer better value.

The venue is at Excel Dance Academy, Longacre Way, Sothall S20 3FS, with free parking, disabled access, vending and WiFi on site. Phone +44 7496 679443 or email info@vidadelpadel.com for direct enquiries.

Programme and social

Coaching at Vida del Padel Sheffield is delivered by qualified Level 2 LTA Padel Instructors, with a focus on tactical and technical development through game-based methods. The venue also hosts regular community events, mix-ins and tournaments that connect players across all levels. WhatsApp groups keep members informed of upcoming sessions and social fixtures.

Changing rooms cover the basics on site, though racket hire is not currently part of the offer.

Best for

South-east Sheffield players who want an in-house coaching pathway and a social, community-driven club rather than a high-volume booking site. The 06:00 to 23:00 daily window suits both early starters and after-work players, and the Vida del Padel brand identity gives newcomers a clear entry route into the sport.

Less suited to anyone who needs racket hire on arrival.

Coaching at Vida del Padel Sheffield is delivered by qualified Level 2 LTA Padel Instructors, with a tactical and technical curriculum built around game-based methods. Group and individual sessions are available, and the wider Vida del Padel UK brand uses a consistent coaching framework across its network sites.
