Quik Padel

Quik Padel is an indoor padel facility at Cloverdale, Alkington, Whitchurch SY13 3NG, sitting just off the A41 between Whitchurch town centre and the Shropshire border with Cheshire. The venue brings four purpose-built panoramic courts to a part of the West Midlands that has historically had very little dedicated padel infrastructure.

That puts Whitchurch within easy reach of players travelling from Wrexham, Nantwich, Market Drayton and Shrewsbury. The club opened with a clear focus on year-round indoor play, weather-proof scheduling and a straightforward booking flow through Playtomic. Day-to-day enquiries are handled by email at info@quikpadel.co.uk, with live availability published through the Quik Padel website.

The padel courts

Quik Padel runs four indoor courts under a permanent covered structure. Three are standard double courts measuring 20 metres by 10 metres, and the fourth is a singles court for one-on-one play, training drills and shorter sharp sessions. All four are panoramic glass-back courts, giving spectators and queueing players a clean view across the facility.

Surfaces are synthetic turf with sand infill, the standard specification for modern indoor padel in the UK. The courts are lit by overhead LED arrays for consistent visibility from open to close. Because every court is fully enclosed, sessions run on schedule regardless of Shropshire weather - a meaningful advantage for league fixtures and coaching blocks during autumn and winter.

Booking and access

Court bookings run through Playtomic - players can book a court at Quik Padel on Playtomic via the app or web, where the live calendar shows available slots, prices and any open matches to join. Cancellation windows and refund policies are set at the platform level and shown at the booking step.

Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 23:00 and Saturday and Sunday from 08:00 to 20:00, giving early-morning, lunchtime and late-evening windows on weekdays. Coached sessions and Americano events start from around £10 per player, with the exact rate for each slot displayed on Playtomic at booking.

On-site amenities include free parking directly outside the building, a cafeteria for hot and cold drinks, a vending machine for between-session top-ups, changing rooms and complimentary WiFi. Racket hire is available from £2.50 for players turning up without their own kit.

Padel programme and social play

The programme at Quik Padel is built around social play and improvement. The calendar features Americano formats, coached match-play, mixed social events and beginner introduction sessions, all bookable through the Playtomic events tab.

Americanos are a good entry point for new players because they rotate partners and opponents every few games, which removes the pressure of finding a fixed group of four. Coaching is delivered at the venue for all abilities, from complete beginners to experienced players, with sessions and clinics arranged through the club.

Pricing for one-to-one and group lessons is confirmed on enquiry by email. A small on-site shop stocks rackets, balls and accessories for players who want to upgrade their gear.

Best for

Quik Padel suits North Shropshire and South Cheshire players who want a reliable indoor base for regular weekly play, plus visitors from Wrexham, Nantwich and Shrewsbury looking for a dedicated padel facility within a short drive. The mix of three doubles courts and one singles court works well for clubs, friend groups and competitive players.

It is less suited to players looking for a large multi-sport complex, full restaurant and bar service, or a wide weekday daytime social-only programme.

For pure padel on bookable indoor courts with straightforward access, sensible parking and a clean booking flow, Quik Padel is a solid addition to the Shropshire padel map and a useful indoor option for players across the wider Welsh borders area.
