Nine Padel Monas

Nine Padel Monas is the biggest padel venue in Central Jakarta, with nine indoor, air-conditioned courts at Jl. Tanah Abang I No.12 A, Petojo Selatan, Gambir, Central Jakarta 10160. The club sits on Jalan Tanah Abang I, on the western side of the Medan Merdeka square and a short drive from the Thamrin and Sudirman office corridors. Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat links the venue to most of the city centre, and Gambir station is a short hop away.

Opened in 2026 by PT Padel Jaya Cemerlang, the club pitches itself as the first serious padel club planted in the actual centre of Jakarta rather than the suburbs. The official Nine Padel Monas site describes the feel as closer to a hotel lobby than a gym. Google reviewers rate it 4.9 from over 130 reviews.

The padel courts

There are nine full-size padel courts, all indoor and all air-conditioned - a deliberate response to the Jakarta heat. The AYO booking sheet lists every court individually, colour-coded as four green courts, one black court and four blue courts, each labelled a premium court.

The courts are built to international standards under a single roof, so rain never cancels a game and evening sessions stay comfortable. Racket hire is available, with rackets, balls, grips and shoes stocked at the on-site pro shop, and a spectator seating area gives waiting players somewhere to watch from.

The wider building follows a contemporary Mediterranean design, with warm natural tones and open communal spaces wrapped around the playing hall - a look the AYO listing calls out specifically, and one that carries through the cafe and lounge areas as much as the courts themselves.

Booking and access

Courts book online through AYO Indonesia in 30 minute blocks at Rp 192,500 per court, which works out at Rp 385,000 per hour, or roughly Rp 96,250 per person in a doubles four. The venue’s own site lists open play from Rp 350,000 per hour, so check live slots for current rates.

You can also reserve over WhatsApp on +62 821 2777 7899 - message the time you want, and the club confirms the court and sends a prep checklist. Opening hours run 06:00 to 24:00 daily, so early drills before work and post-dinner matches are both realistic.

Access by car is straightforward, with parking for cars and motorcycles plus valet-style drop-off, and drivers are welcome to wait on site. Inside there are locker rooms with hot and cold showers, changing rooms, a prayer room and toilets. No public email address is published, so WhatsApp is the fastest contact route.

Programme and social

Beyond casual hire, the club runs open play sessions where you can walk in and join a court, plus tournaments and corporate events - companies can reserve the whole venue with food, sound and staffing handled by the club.

Off court, the specialty cafe with barista, the full kitchen with a proper restaurant menu and a members’ lounge with fast WiFi make it easy to stay for lunch after a match.

Best for padel in Central Jakarta

Nine Padel Monas suits city-centre players best. It is one of very few padel venues within minutes of Monas, Thamrin and the government district, and the 6am to midnight hours wrap neatly around office schedules. Groups who want hospitality with their sport - coffee, food and hosted service - will get the most from it.

It is less suited to players hunting bargain court rates, as pricing sits at the premium end for Jakarta, and there are no outdoor courts for anyone who prefers playing in the open air. Everything is pay and play with online booking, so no membership is needed to get on court.
