Phantom Padel

Phantom Padel is a dedicated indoor padel club in west El Paso at 4580 Doniphan Drive, El Paso, TX 79922, just off Interstate 10 between Mesa Hills and Upper Valley. It is El Paso’s first purpose-built indoor padel facility, focused on year-round climate-controlled play through hot Sun City summers and breezy winters.

The club is built around a small, community-first model: two bookable courts, an emphasis on social formats and beginner pathways, and an active local following on Instagram at @phantompadel. Players in El Paso, Las Cruces and Ciudad Juarez use Phantom Padel as a regular stop for casual play, women’s nights, junior classes and Monday Retas mixers.

The padel courts

Phantom Padel has two full-size doubles courts, both indoor and both panoramic glass-back, listed on Playtomic as Siblante Oxygen 1 and Mind Bliss Psychiatry 2. The courts are housed under a permanent climate-controlled structure with consistent LED lighting and turf, so play is unaffected by El Paso’s summer heat, monsoon dust or winter wind.

With only two courts on site, court time tends to move quickly during weekday evenings and weekend mornings. Booking ahead is strongly recommended, especially around organised events and academy classes. Racket hire is available at the desk for visitors and first-time players who do not yet own a padel racket.

Booking and access

All court bookings run through Playtomic. You can book a court on Playtomic via the web or the Playtomic mobile app, where the live calendar shows real-time availability for both courts. Standard slots are 60 or 90 minutes and the booking system handles payment, cancellation and player invites.

Court hire rates appear at the booking step on Playtomic and vary by time slot. Academy class pricing is published openly: Retas Champs Monday and kids and pre-teen beginner classes start from $15 USD per player.

Equipment rental, free parking, a small store, vending, changing rooms and WiFi are all on site, and the building has disabled access. The Women’s Beginner Padel Class and Open Play runs from $20 USD per player.

Opening hours are Monday to Sunday, 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. For class reservations, group bookings or membership questions, the club takes calls on (915) 977-5107 and replies via direct message on Instagram.

Padel programme and social play

Phantom Padel programmes the calendar around social padel rather than pure court rental. Recurring fixtures include the Monday Retas Champs mixer, midweek Women’s Beginner Padel Class and Open Play, and weekend kids and pre-teen beginner classes for juniors.

The format is friendly and level-aware, designed to let solo bookers find a game without bringing three friends. Match nights are posted ahead of time on Playtomic and the Facebook community group.

The club also runs short-form tournaments and league nights through the year and uses the Phantom Padel community group on Facebook to coordinate fill-ins, partner finds and local events. It is a strong fit for first-time players, families, and intermediate players looking for a regular Monday mixer.

It is less suited to players who need a large multi-court facility for big regional tournaments, or who want a full sports-club setup with restaurant, bar and pool. With two courts and a community-club focus, peak slots can move quickly during evenings and weekend mornings.
