About Rina
Rina grew up fully dedicated to tennis, winning the Under 12 All Japan Junior titles in 2004. She began playing padel in 2019, and despite a lifetime of racquet sports, she kept missing the ball coming off the wall in the beginning, and this challenge is exactly what drew her in. She soon moved into competitive play, was selected for the Japanese National Team in 2020 and 2021, won the All Japan Padel Championship in 2021, and represented Japan at the World Padel Championship in Qatar that same year. Rina loves meeting and connecting with people through sport, and she believes padel should be fun, inclusive, and full of growth. Today she coaches at Padel Fit in South Australia.
