About Álvaro
Álvaro is a professional coach at SLC Padel Club, bringing a piece of Spain to Salt Lake City, where he says padel is much more than a sport and is a way of connecting and having fun. He has been playing on Spanish courts since 2015, and after experiencing that culture from the inside he decided he wanted to help the game grow in other places. He got certified through the RSPA (formerly USPTA) and had the opportunity to train under Marcos del Pilar, learning how to adapt European padel knowledge to the dynamic pace of the United States. Álvaro likes to focus on the tactical side and the small details that help players improve quickly while keeping good vibes on the court.
