About padel at Shandrani
Shandrani Beachcomber Resort & Spa sits on a private peninsula at Blue Bay in south east Mauritius, with three beaches beside the Blue Bay Marine Park. Its renovation added a brand-new padel court set under swaying palms, alongside pickleball courts. The renovation also reworked the main restaurant, Le Grand Port, and the conference centre, so the resort feels fresh throughout.
Sport is a big part of the stay here. Beachcomber runs a sports and nature programme, and there is a 50-hectare pitch and putt golf course, with access to the 18-hole Avalon Golf Estate. The Kids Club is free for ages 3 to 11, and the resort has six restaurants, three bars and a Beachcomber spa.
Best for
Families and couples who want a relaxed beach holiday with a padel court on site, at an upper-end price.
