How to choose a NOX padel racket

The right NOX racket depends on shape first, then weight and face material. This guide ranks nine NOX rackets you can buy in the UK in October 2026, with dated prices. For other brands, see our best padel rackets guide, and for the full brand story, our NOX brand guide.

NOX splits its range into signature lines and club models. The rackets here come from four of them:

  • AT10. The Agustin Tapia line: teardrop Genius rackets for all-round play and diamond Genius Attack rackets for power.
  • ML10. Round control rackets, from the 3K carbon Ventus Control to the fibreglass Pro Cup Coorp.
  • Ventus. The Ventus Hybrid 12K Lite, a lighter round carbon racket at 355 to 365 g.
  • Equation and X-One. Round club rackets under £110, for beginners and improvers.

Timing matters this season. NOX has launched its 2027 range, and the 2026 AT10 rackets are heavily discounted: the Genius 18K Alum 2026 is £205.99 at Padel Market, down from £333.99. The Genius 12K Alum Xtrem Lite 2026 was out of stock at Padel Nuestro on 7 October 2026, and Padel Market is the main UK stockist below.

The Genius Attack 18K Alum uses the same MLD Black EVA core and 18K Alum carbon face as the teardrop Genius, so the touch stays intermediate. The difference is the diamond head and high balance, which put more mass behind smashes and viboras. The Dual Spin surface and 38 mm profile match the rest of the series.

4. NOX ML10 Ventus Control 3K 2026, best for control

The NOX ML10 Ventus Control 3K 2026 is the pick for players who win points with placement rather than pace. It is a round racket with a medium balance, and Padel Market sells it for £160.99 in October 2026, down from £291.99.

NOX ML10 Ventus Control 3K 2026 round padel racket

The ML10 Ventus Control 3K pairs a 3K carbon face with an HR3 EVA core and a Dual Spin surface. The round head keeps the sweet spot low and wide, which helps on blocks, lobs and chiquitas. NOX says the test site Testea named it the best control racket two years running; that is the brand’s claim.

What you get: Round, 360 to 375 g, 38 mm, Carbon Fiber 3K face, HR3 EVA core, medium balance, Dual Spin surface.

The NOX Ventus Hybrid 12K Lite 2026 is a 38 mm round racket with a 12K carbon face and MLD Black EVA core, 355 to 365 g.

The Ventus Hybrid 12K Lite uses a 12K carbon face over an MLD Black EVA core, the same core family as the Genius 18K, but in a round head with a soft touch. The Dual Spin surface helps on slice. The lower weight makes it quicker to swing at the net and easier on the arm over long matches.

NOX ML10 Pro Cup Coorp 2027 round padel racket
The NOX ML10 Pro Cup Coorp 2027 is a 38 mm round racket with a Fibreglass face and HR3 core, 360 to 375 g.

The ML10 Pro Cup Coorp 2027 uses a fibreglass face over an HR3 core in a 38 mm round frame with a low to medium balance. Fibreglass flexes more than carbon, so the ball leaves the face with less effort on soft shots. The surface is smooth, with no texture, so spin comes from your stroke rather than the face.

What you get: Round, 360 to 375 g, 38 mm, fibreglass face, HR3 core, low to medium balance, soft touch, smooth surface.

Price and where to buy: £129.99 at Padel Market. Padel Nuestro listed it at £127.20.

NOX 2026 or 2027: should you wait?

The NOX 2027 range is on sale now, with pre-orders shipping from 19 October 2026. It drops the AT10 prefix, so the new flagship is the Genius 18K Alum by Agustin Tapia 2027. The main new feature is VCS anti-vibration.

The 2027 Genius 18K Alum costs £330.80 at Padel Nuestro, and Padel Market lists the Genius 18K 2027 at £337.99. The 2026 Genius 18K Alum is £205.99 at Padel Market, so the 2026 model is the cheaper way into the Genius line.

The 2026 AT10 series already brought the bigger changes: Weight Balance counterweights of 2 g and 4 g, the photochromic Chromic Paint, the Dual Spin surface, 12K Alum Xtrem carbon, EOS Tunnel side perforations and a more aerodynamic mould. Unless you want VCS, the discounted 2026 model is the better buy.

NOX padel racket buying guide

Shape and balance

Shape is the biggest choice in any NOX racket because it sets where the sweet spot sits. Round rackets such as the ML10 Ventus Control 3K have a medium balance and a low, forgiving sweet spot. Diamond rackets such as the Genius Attack 18K Alum have a high balance for power. The teardrop Genius sits between them.

The 2026 Genius 18K Alum adds a second way to tune balance. Its Weight Balance counterweights come in 2 g and 4 g, so you can make the head heavier for power or the handle heavier for control without changing racket. If you are unsure of your style, our guide to choosing a padel racket walks through it.

Weight

Most NOX rackets in this guide weigh 360 to 375 g, which suits adult club players. Two are lighter at 355 to 365 g: the Ventus Hybrid 12K Lite 2026 and the AT10 Genius 12K Alum Xtrem Lite 2026. Choose one of those if a heavier racket tires your arm by the third set.

Face and core materials

Face material changes how a NOX racket feels on contact. The AT10 rackets use 18K Alum or 12K Alum Xtrem carbon, the Ventus Control uses 3K carbon and the Pro Cup Coorp and Equation use fibreglass, which flexes more and feels softer.

The core matters as much as the face. The MLD Black EVA core in the Genius 18K Alum gives an intermediate touch, while the HR3 Black EVA in the Genius Attack 12K Alum Xtrem feels intermediate-hard. The HR3 White EVA in the Genius 12K Alum Xtrem Lite is rated soft.

Budget and timing

NOX rackets in this guide run from £57.64 for the X-One 2026 to £205.99 for the AT10 Genius 18K Alum 2026. With the 2027 range launched, the 2026 carbon models sit well below their earlier prices: the ML10 Ventus Control 3K is £160.99, down from £291.99.

If you are newer to padel, the round rackets under £110 are the sensible start, and our best rackets for intermediate players guide covers the next step up across brands. For NOX shoes, players and the rest of the range, see the NOX padel hub.
