321Sports I Padel sits inside the 321 Sports village on Al Hudayriyat Island, Abu Dhabi, a Modon-developed district managed by Ahdaaf Sports Management. The 321Sports I Padel courts are reached from the mainland over the Hodariyat suspension bridge, which links Sheikh Shakhbout bin Sultan Street to the island in around ten minutes from central Abu Dhabi.

Padel at 321Sports I Padel was added in the 2023 expansion designed by BDP, when indoor courts, a swimming pool and extra pitches were folded into the existing sports village. The campus also houses football pitches, basketball, tennis, badminton, cricket, an athletics track, the 321 Hub gym, sauna, plunge pool, yoga studio, cafe and restaurant.

The padel courts

There are six padel courts in total: four indoor doubles courts (Indoor Court 2, 3, 4 and 5) and two outdoor doubles courts (Outdoor Court 3 and 4). All six are crystal-walled, full doubles courts on synthetic turf surface, and the indoor courts sit under permanent roofed structures with LED lighting.

The outdoor pair are floodlit for evening play, which matters in Abu Dhabi where summer daytime heat from May to September pushes most padel indoors. Indoors, climate control keeps play comfortable through the hotter months, while the outdoor courts come into their own from October to April.

Booking and access

Indoor padel costs around AED 210 off-peak and AED 260 peak per hour, AED 315 to AED 350 for 90 minutes, and AED 357 to AED 440 for two hours. Outdoor courts range from AED 150 to AED 300 across the same duration bands.
