Al ZEINA padel court

Al ZEINA padel court is a dedicated padel facility within the Al Zeina residential community at Al Raha Beach in Abu Dhabi. The courts sit in front of Block A, part of the wider Al Raha Beach development by Aldar Properties. Al Zeina padel court padel is available exclusively to community residents.

The address is Al Rahah, Al Zeina, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The community sits along the shoreline between Yas Island and Saadiyat Island, accessible via the E10 Sheikh Zayed Bridge highway and a short drive from Abu Dhabi International Airport.

Al Zeina is one of Abu Dhabi’s established waterfront developments, comprising 973 apartments, 119 townhouses and more than 150 villas. PFS Sport, a specialist sports surface supplier, featured the courts as a project spotlight.

The community offers six swimming pools with lifeguard coverage, six gyms, a 500-metre private beach and landscaped gardens. A retail strip with restaurants and cafes, changing rooms and 2,790 secure parking spaces round out the amenities.

The padel courts

Al Zeina padel court has three outdoor doubles courts built to standard 20m x 10m dimensions. All three use a crystal synthetic grass surface, popular across UAE venues for its consistent ball bounce and durability in hot conditions.

The courts are fully enclosed with glass back walls and metallic mesh side panels in the standard padel configuration. Floodlighting allows evening play, essential in Abu Dhabi where cooler evening sessions are preferred during summer months.

All three courts are doubles-sized. The outdoor setting means courts are exposed to the elements, though Abu Dhabi’s dry climate means rain disruptions are rare. The waterfront location provides a pleasant breeze off the creek.

Booking and access

Al Zeina padel court is exclusively available to residents of the Al Zeina community. Access is managed through the Aldar community management system rather than a public booking platform.

Residents can book courts through the community portal or by contacting the management team. For enquiries, Aldar customer service can be reached at customerservice@aldar.com. Court usage appears to be included within community service charges.

Opening hours follow the community facility schedule. The courts operate from 07:00 to 23:30 on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and 07:30 to 23:30 on weekdays (Monday to Friday). These hours allow play before and after work.

Parking is readily available with 2,790 secure spaces across the development. Changing rooms with shower facilities sit within the community amenity areas, convenient for playing before or after using the pool or gym.

Programme and social

As a residential community facility, Al Zeina padel court does not run a formal coaching programme or tournament schedule. However, the resident-only nature creates a built-in community of players who live in close proximity.

The Aldar Experiences programme hosts regular social and sporting events including fitness classes, wellness activities and sports open days. Residents often organise informal padel matches and social play through the community channels.

The broader Al Raha Beach area has an active padel scene with several commercial clubs nearby. These offer coaching and competitive play for residents looking to supplement their home court access with structured training.

Best for

Al Zeina padel court is ideal for community residents who want convenient padel access without leaving the development. The three courts offer enough capacity for a residential setting and the crystal surface delivers quality play.

Resident-only access means courts are generally quieter and easier to book than busy commercial clubs, particularly during peak evening and weekend slots. Players who value a relaxed atmosphere over competitive leagues will appreciate the setup.

These courts are not suitable for non-residents seeking pay-and-play padel in Abu Dhabi. Players wanting coaching or tournaments should look at commercial clubs. For Al Zeina residents, three quality courts on the doorstep is a genuine highlight.
