The courts sit within Fahid Beach Club by Barbossa, a seasonal beachfront venue opened in November 2024. The beach club is run by the team behind Barbossa Latin-American restaurant and operates during the cooler winter months.

A PADEL manages the padel operation within the beach club. The brand rebranded from We Are Padel to A PADEL, retaining the same team, courts and coaching infrastructure. The padel courts

A PADEL - Al Fahid Beach Club has two outdoor doubles padel courts. Both courts feature panoramic glass walls, giving players unobstructed sightlines of the beachfront surroundings. The courts sit on synthetic turf and are designed for doubles play.

The outdoor setting means matches are played under open skies with natural light during the day. Floodlighting extends play into the evening hours up to 19:00. The panoramic design is consistent with A PADEL courts at other Abu Dhabi locations such as Rebound.

Both courts are bookable online and allow on-site payment. Durations of 60, 90 and 120 minutes are available per session. The courts are exclusively for padel - no other racquet sports share the space.

Booking padel and access

Courts are listed on Playtomic for online booking. The venue operates as pay-and-play, meaning no membership is required. To book a court on Playtomic, select the date, choose 60, 90 or 120 minutes and pay online or on arrival.

Fahid Beach Club advertises padel at AED 150 per court for 60 minutes and AED 280 per court for 120 minutes. That works out to roughly AED 37.50 per person for 60 minutes in a standard doubles game of four. Live rates show on Playtomic.

The cancellation policy requires 24 hours notice. Courts are available Thursday through Sunday, 12:00 to 19:00, matching the beach club’s seasonal schedule. Monday to Wednesday the courts are closed. The Playtomic listing is currently inactive, reflecting the seasonal pattern - it reopens each winter.

Programme and social

The venue hosts Social Padel @ Fahid sessions on Fridays as part of the FRQNCY @ Fahid programme, running from 3 PM to 8 PM. These sessions suit beginners and social players, set to curated music from the beach club DJ.

Fahid Beach Club is family-friendly, welcoming children until 6 PM and pets until 7 PM in designated beach areas. The venue also offers kayaking, kite surfing and beach volleyball alongside the padel courts.
