PADEL BEAST x SSC

PADEL BEAST x SSC brings dedicated padel coaching and competitive play to the Sport Support Club Air Dome on Emirates National School Al Fan Street, Mohamed Bin Zayed City (MBZ), Abu Dhabi 9712. The venue is a partnership between Padel Beast and Sport Support Club’s climate-controlled air dome.

Sitting along the Z3 corridor of MBZ, the facility offers direct access from Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311). Padel Beast handles coaching, club management and community events, while SSC provides the indoor infrastructure and amenities.

The facility opened as a multi-sport complex and has steadily expanded its padel offering under the Padel Beast brand. Padel Beast focuses on club management, structured coaching programmes, organised matches, tournaments and community events across Abu Dhabi. Their collaboration with SSC gives players a fixed home base with four bookable courts, full amenities and a growing social calendar.

The padel courts

PADEL BEAST x SSC offers four indoor doubles padel courts, each fitted with crystal-grade synthetic turf. All four courts sit inside the air-supported dome structure, which maintains a climate-controlled environment year-round - a genuine advantage in Abu Dhabi’s summer heat, where temperatures regularly exceed 45 degrees Celsius.

The indoor setting eliminates wind interference entirely, creating consistent playing conditions for both casual rallies and competitive matches. Courts are individually numbered (Padel 1 through Padel 4) and each is bookable separately via the Playtomic platform. Overhead LED lighting covers all four courts, supporting evening play through the venue’s late closing time.

The air dome also houses football pitches, a basketball court, a tennis court, volleyball and badminton courts - making it one of MBZ’s larger multi-sport indoor facilities. Padel players benefit from the shared infrastructure without the distractions of an outdoor setting.

Booking padel and access

Courts are booked online through Playtomic, where live availability and pricing appear at the booking step. The venue does not currently list fixed public rates on its website, so checking Playtomic for the latest per-court pricing is recommended. Rates are displayed in AED and vary by time slot and day of the week.

Opening hours run Monday to Thursday from 16:00 to 23:00, Friday from 14:00 to 23:00, and Saturday to Sunday from 08:00 to 23:00. Holiday hours extend from 09:00 to 23:00. Weekend mornings offer the widest window for daytime play.

Equipment rental is available on site, including rackets and balls - useful for newcomers or visiting players without their own kit. Free parking surrounds the air dome, with access by car from the E311 motorway.

For enquiries, the venue can be reached on +971 50 230 3707 or +971 54 499 0119, or by email at info@uae-sports.com.

The complex provides changing rooms, lockers, shower facilities and a cafeteria for post-match refreshments. Disabled access is available at the venue entrance and throughout the dome.

Padel programme and social

Padel Beast runs the coaching and events programme at SSC, offering structured lessons for beginners through to advanced players. Their coaching team provides both private one-on-one sessions and group lessons for two or more players. A dedicated Ladies Academy caters specifically to women looking to develop their padel skills in a supportive environment.

Beyond coaching, Padel Beast organises regular tournaments, social mix-in sessions and competitive matchmaking filtered by skill level, availability, location and playing style. These community-driven events have helped build a loyal player base across Abu Dhabi. The organisation also manages club operations, marketing and on-site promotions, keeping the padel calendar active throughout the year.

The venue’s on-site store stocks padel accessories and essentials. Players can browse gear before or after sessions without needing a separate trip to a specialist retailer. Social play is encouraged through Padel Beast’s matchmaking service, which pairs players of similar ability for organised games.

Best for

PADEL BEAST x SSC suits players who want reliable indoor courts in Abu Dhabi’s western suburbs without the premium pricing of resort-based venues. The climate-controlled dome is a strong draw during the hotter months from May to September, when outdoor courts across the UAE become difficult to use.

The coaching programme through Padel Beast makes the venue a solid choice for beginners seeking structured development, while the tournament calendar and matchmaking service cater to intermediate and advanced players looking for competitive play. The Ladies Academy adds a specific pathway for women entering the sport.

Families using SSC for football, basketball or swimming can add padel to their routine without visiting a separate facility. The venue is less suited to players seeking a luxury padel experience with panoramic courts or resort amenities - this is a functional, community-focused sports dome rather than a boutique padel club.

Padel Beast provides structured coaching at SSC with private and group lessons for all levels, plus a dedicated Ladies Academy for women entering the sport.
