FM Padel Academy (Playce)

FM Padel Academy (Playce) operates from the PLAYCE sports and social hub on Al Sunbolah Street in Al Sufouh, Dubai Media City, United Arab Emirates. Founded by two Emirati and two Canadian friends, PLAYCE brings padel, football, a fitness studio and a cafe under one roof.

FM Padel Academy runs the padel programme here, applying its proven FM Methodology at one of the most accessible venues in Media City. The facility sits just off Sheikh Zayed Road, making it a quick stop from Marina, JLT or Downtown Dubai.

FM Padel Academy (Playce) padel is coached by a multilingual team led by founder Francesco Mendo, an Italian high-performance coach with 12 years of experience. The academy is an official HEAD partner, so players benefit from quality equipment and apparel support across all sessions.

The padel courts

PLAYCE has six outdoor doubles padel courts, labelled Padel 1 through Padel 6. All six feature panoramic glass walls and floodlighting for evening play. The artificial turf surface is designed for consistent ball bounce and grip in Dubai’s warm climate.

Courts are open daily from 06:00 until 02:00, giving early risers and night owls extended playing windows. The venue also has three five-a-side football pitches on synthetic grass, making PLAYCE a genuine multi-sport destination.

Booking and access

Court bookings are handled through Playtomic, where all six courts appear as individually bookable slots. Live rates and real-time availability show at the booking step on the platform.

Prepaid flex packs suit regular players. The Flex 10 pack costs 3,600 AED for ten sessions, while the Flex 5 pack costs 1,900 AED for five sessions. That works out at 360 AED and 380 AED per session respectively.

Racket hire is available on site for those who prefer to travel light. The venue offers free parking, a genuine bonus in Media City where spaces fill up fast. Changing rooms with lockers are provided for players heading straight to work or dinner.

Programme and social padel

FM Padel Academy runs a full programme of private lessons, group training, tournaments and social events at PLAYCE. Private coaching offers one-on-one attention tailored to individual goals. Group sessions use the MultiCore Training method to build technique, tactics and match awareness.

Weekly events cater to ladies, men, adults and juniors, keeping the community active across every age group. The academy’s match-making service pairs players of similar ability for competitive games outside structured sessions.

Tournaments and social evenings run regularly throughout the season, from casual round-robins to themed dinners. The coaching team includes five named coaches spanning beginner through elite levels. See the coaching tab for full tier details and pricing.

The on-site cafeteria serves food and drinks, making it easy to refuel or watch matches from the sideline. WiFi is available throughout the venue for those catching up on work between games.

Best for

FM Padel Academy at PLAYCE suits players who want structured coaching alongside casual play in a sociable, multi-sport setting. The extended hours - 06:00 to 02:00 daily - are ideal for shift workers and those who prefer cooler evening sessions.

The MultiCore Training method and five-coach roster make the academy a strong choice for improvers progressing from beginner to competitive level. Junior programmes and ladies-specific sessions give families and newer female players dedicated entry points.

Players seeking an indoor, climate-controlled environment should note all six courts are outdoor. However, late-night availability and floodlighting mean comfortable play well after sunset. Free parking, the cafeteria and multi-sport layout add convenience that standalone padel clubs often lack.

FM Padel Academy provides in-house coaching at PLAYCE through a five-coach team led by founder Francesco Mendo. Sessions include private lessons, group training using the MultiCore Training method, and dedicated programmes for juniors, ladies and competitive players.
