About Padel Islands Dubai

Padel Islands Dubai is a two-court outdoor padel venue on a floating platform at Cluster I, Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai 923016. It opened in 2022 as the world’s first floating padel facility, sitting on the JLT lake with the DMCC metro station a short walk away.

The club operates 24 hours a day, every day of the year, and runs all of its bookings through Padel Islands and Playtomic. The setting is the headline feature, with subtle platform movement underfoot and the JLT skyline visible through the glass on every shot.

The padel courts

The venue has two full-size regulation padel courts, both outdoor and both built on the floating platform. The courts use a crystal-glass back-wall system, which gives spectators a clear view in from the lakeside promenade and players an open view out to the water.

Court dimensions and glass meet international padel standards, and the playing surface is the standard synthetic turf used at panoramic builds. Both courts are floodlit for night play, and the surrounding towers shade the platform during the hottest hours, which helps in summer.

Conditions are slightly different to a standard land-based court. The platform has a small amount of give, and the open water on three sides creates a quieter, less echoey playing environment than a typical enclosed indoor venue. Most players adjust within a few games.

Booking and access

Court bookings run through Playtomic, with live availability and pricing on the Padel Islands Floating Club page on Playtomic. Sessions are 60 minutes and priced per court by time of day.

Midnight to 11:00 is 275 AED per court, the 11:00 to 16:00 lunch slot is 200 AED per court, and the 16:00 to midnight evening band is 350 AED per court. Split four ways, that works out at roughly 50 to 88 AED per player.

Rackets and balls are available on site for 25 AED each, and balls can be bought for 40 AED. First-time players get a free first hour between 10:00 and 17:00 daily, which is a useful way to try padel before committing.

The club is reachable on 058 163 4079 and at info@padelislands.com, with a separate WhatsApp line for coaching and private hire. Parking is at Golden Tower in JLT Cluster I and the DMCC metro station is a short walk away.

Padel programme and social

Padel Islands runs an active community programme alongside open-play bookings. The club hosts social mixers, themed community nights, members-only events and tournaments through the year, plus crossover sessions with cornhole, yoga and pilates on the deck.

Private hire is well established for birthday parties, corporate events and brand activations, with the floating platform giving the venue a striking visual identity. The Padel Islands Club membership programme adds priority court access, member-only rates and discounts on coaching and rentals.

Coaching is available for all levels, from first-timers to seasoned competitors, and is detailed under the coaching tab on this page. Group and academy pricing is on request via email or WhatsApp, and the club is happy to put players together for mix-in sessions when groups are not complete.

Best for padel in Dubai

Padel Islands Dubai suits players who want an outdoor, scenic, social experience over a high-volume training environment. It is a strong choice for visitors staying in Dubai Marina or JLT and for groups looking for somewhere distinctive to host a hit.

Newer players are well served by the free first hour and on-site rentals. Serious competitors training daily will likely also use a larger indoor club for volume, but Padel Islands works well as a regular outdoor fixture and is open round the clock.

Visitors from outside the region rate it as one of the most photogenic places in the city to play padel, and the 24-hour access suits shift workers and travellers on irregular time zones.
