Pure Play TAJ JLT is the outdoor sister site to the brand’s flagship indoor venue in Jebel Ali. It sits on the rooftop of the Taj Jumeirah Lakes Towers hotel at Al Thanya Street, DMCC Plot 2-27, Jumeirah Lake Towers, Dubai.

The location is inside Cluster I of JLT, a short walk from the Jumeirah Lakes Towers metro station and quickly reached via Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Khail Road.

The pitch is simple: serious Pure Play padel above the city, paired with five-star hotel hospitality. Players get the same shot-tracking technology used at the Jebel Ali warehouse, plus access to the Taj rooftop pool, restaurant and valet drop-off.

It is positioned as Dubai’s most premium outdoor padel experience and trades on skyline views, polished service and a tight, members-style atmosphere.

The padel courts

The venue runs two outdoor crystal padel courts, both with full glass-backed panels and floodlights for evening play. Court one (Smash) is a standard double court for four players, while court two (Dropshot) is a singles court built for 1v1 matches and head-to-head coaching drills.

Both courts use a Spanish-spec synthetic turf with sand infill and sit on the hotel’s upper deck. They are recorded by Pure Play’s smart cameras, so players can open the brand’s companion app to watch full match replays, clip highlights and review individual shots after a session.

For reference, the sister venue in Jebel Ali lists 60 minutes at around AED 160 peak and AED 120 off-peak per court. The Taj rooftop pricing is set in the same band on Playtomic.

Most members book 60 or 90 minute slots, and 120 minute blocks are available when courts allow. Cancellation is handled through the Playtomic app under each booking.

Opening hours run from 07:00 to 23:00 every day, including weekends. Complimentary valet parking is offered at the Taj entrance, which removes the usual JLT parking hunt, and the courts share lifts with the hotel so changing rooms, lockers and showers are a few steps away.

Programme and social padel

Pure Play TAJ JLT runs an open match programme via Playtomic, where players post their level and join 2v2 games. Regular mix-ins, ladies’ mornings and small in-house tournaments are timed around UAE weekends.

Members get priority on event slots and access to exclusive five-star hotel F&B specials at Paros restaurant and the rooftop pool bar, which makes the after-match social as much of a draw as the courts themselves.

Best for padel in Dubai

This is the right choice for JLT and Marina-based players who want outdoor padel in Dubai with hotel-grade service - skyline backdrop, valet parking, smart cameras and a pool to slide into after a match. It also suits visitors staying at Taj JLT who want padel without crossing the city.

It is less ideal for big squads, social groups of 12+ players, or anyone after a deep coaching pathway under one roof. With only two courts and a partner-coach model, that is better served by larger multi-court clubs.
