Wellfit Madar

Wellfit Madar is the Sharjah flagship of the Wellfit health-club brand, set inside a 65,000 square-foot Zaha Hadid Architects building in the Madar leisure district at Aljada by Arada, Muwaileh Commercial, Sharjah.

The padel offer sits alongside one of the largest gym floors in the emirate, with full changing rooms, sauna, steam room and an in-club cafe. Aljada sits just off Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311), so wellfit madar padel pulls players from Sharjah, Ajman and the eastern Dubai suburbs.

The club is run by Wellfit, the lifestyle brand backed by master-developer Arada. The padel build sits on the leisure side of Madar, sharing the entrance plaza with Bounce Inc and a cluster of food and beverage units.

The padel courts

Wellfit Madar runs two fully enclosed padel courts on the indoor side of the club. Both are climate-controlled, lit for evening play and finished with full glass back walls, giving the spectator seating a clear view of every rally.

The enclosure appears to follow the standard double-glass specification used across Wellfit’s Sharjah and Dubai sites. Court flooring is the synthetic turf finish standard for indoor wellfit madar padel play, with line markings to World Padel Tour dimensions of twenty metres by ten.

Racquets are included with every booking and tubes of balls are available at the desk, so first-timers and visiting players do not need to bring their own kit. A pro shop inside the gym stocks selected padel and fitness items, and balls are restocked daily by the gym front-desk team.

Booking and access

Live rates show at the booking step. Court hire is AED 200 per hour for non-members (around AED 50 per person for a doubles match) and AED 150 per hour for Wellfit members. A tube of balls is AED 30 extra, with racquets included in the court fee.

Courts can be reserved through the Wellfit app, on the central Wellfit padel line on 056 890 1968, or via Playtomic, which mirrors the Wellfit Madar diary. The main club switchboard is 800 9355348 and the gym reception handles drop-in pay-and-play queries.

Padel hours follow the wider club timetable: Sunday to Thursday 05:30 to 23:00 and Friday to Saturday 07:00 to 22:00. Free parking sits under and around the Zaha Hadid building, with step-free access from the car park into the gym and on to the courts.

Padel programme and social

Padel at Wellfit Madar plugs into the wider Wellfit programme, which runs more than one hundred classes a week across the Sharjah and Dubai clubs. Social mix-ins, beginner sessions and open-court evenings appear on the Wellfit app diary and on the @wellfit Instagram feed.

Ladies-only slots fit alongside the dedicated ladies gym area, and the junior sports academy feeds children into padel from the same membership. Internal club tournaments are run on the two courts, with results shared on the Wellfit app community feed.

Coaching is delivered in-house by the Wellfit padel team. Private lessons, paired sessions and small-group academy slots are offered, with personal training packages and a junior sports route running through the same booking pipeline. Details and tier pricing sit on the coaching tab.

Best for padel in Sharjah

Wellfit Madar suits players who want a polished, climate-controlled indoor padel experience in Sharjah without travelling to Dubai. The two-court footprint keeps waits sensible at off-peak hours and the wider gym, sauna, steam room and cafe make it easy to fold a match into a longer training day.

It is less suited to large league nights, big tournament draws or anyone wanting outdoor panoramic courts. For those, Wellfit’s three outdoor panoramic courts behind the Aljada Skate Park are the nearby alternative, while World Padel Academy in Sharjah covers high-volume league play.
