About Padel Kennedy Bay
Padel Kennedy Bay is a four-court padel facility set inside the Links Kennedy Bay golf resort at 1 Course Lane, Port Kennedy WA 6172. The site sits around 50 kilometres south of central Perth via the Kwinana Freeway and Ennis Avenue.
The courts officially opened in December 2025 as Perth’s newest dedicated padel destination. They sit alongside the resort’s 18-hole links course, driving range and the Birdie Restaurant clubhouse, with the Indian Ocean a short walk west.
Players book online through Play by Point and walk straight onto the court. No membership, no joining fee, no waiting list. Visit the venue site at Padel Kennedy Bay for the latest news and seasonal events.
The feel is more resort than warehouse club - open air, coastal light and pitched at social players who want a court, a drink and somewhere good to eat afterwards. It is a different padel experience from a windowless indoor box.
The padel courts
There are four outdoor padel courts, all brand new and built to the standard 20 by 10 metre doubles specification. Each court has full glass back walls and side panels and is floodlit for evening play.
All four courts are bookable as doubles courts - there are no singles courts on site. The operator describes them as premium surfaces designed for fast, social padel in a coastal setting.
Because the courts are outdoor and on a coastal site, wind and weather can play a small part on exposed days. The trade-off is the natural light and the long views across the links and dunes towards the Indian Ocean.
Booking and access
All bookings run through Play by Point at padelkennedybay.playbypoint.com. The court is hired per hour and the price covers up to four players, the standard doubles padel format.
Off-peak court hire (Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm) is $40 per hour, which works out at $10 per player in a four. Peak court hire (weekday evenings 4pm to 10pm and all weekend) is $60 per hour, or $15 per player.
Padel rackets are available to hire on site for $5 a session, and Head Pro S+ three-ball cans are sold for $11.95. Players can call (08) 9548 7399 to book by phone or to confirm short-notice availability.
Opening hours track the booking grid: Monday to Friday from 7am to 10pm, with Saturday and Sunday open across the day. Parking is free in the resort car park and the clubhouse acts as check-in for padel sessions.
Programme and social padel
The headline programme is the Social Padel Open Play session, run by a coach for adults aged 16 and over, all standards welcome. Each session lasts 90 minutes and uses a rotating mix of formats including king of the court, americano and short doubles sets.
Players keep moving, change partners and meet new opponents. It is the easiest way for a single player or a pair to join in without having to round up a full four. Sessions are bookable through Play by Point.
Beyond Open Play, Padel Kennedy Bay runs social leagues, coaching clinics and weekly competitions for all levels, with one-off tournaments slotted in around the calendar. After the match, players head into the on-site Birdie Restaurant, a 4.4-star clubhouse kitchen, for food and drinks.
Coaching is available - see the coaching tab for current tiers, coach names and pricing, or enquire through the venue contact form. The on-site pro-shop stocks rackets, balls and the basics.
Best for padel in Port Kennedy
Padel Kennedy Bay suits south-Perth residents, Rockingham and Mandurah players, and golfers at the resort who want a second sport in the same trip. Visitors after an outdoor padel session by the coast will also feel at home here.
The pay-and-play model and on-site racket hire make it a strong choice for first-timers and casual fours. Players who specifically need indoor, climate-controlled courts year round should look at one of Perth’s covered venues instead.
